@@airplanes3757 Awesome pal, I live my town just so happens to be at the halfway point between PHL and ABE. We were constantly disturbed by them cruising at a mere 4,000 feet. Their unique noise is how we knew what the planes in question were Dash 8s.Do you remember their noise as well? (droning propellers and loud whistle)
@@airplanes3757 Ah yes, memories! It’s probably not hard to imagine hearing those things flying over a dozen times a day everyday for years and years on end, it drove us absolutely crazy! Until October 2017 when they were replaced by the much quieter ERJ-145 that is, at least it was fun while it lasted.
I saw these at Newark, and they are actually common Government planes! They could be carrying soldiers or cargo, or they could also be training USAF pilots 🇺🇸
