Read and pray over: 1 Cor 7:39 and Romans 7:1-2. Any marriage with a divorced person is not a valid marriage. To remarry, the first person has to die (and by this I don't mean to take things in your own hands like in Norbit). In Mark 6:18+ John the Baptist died over this truth, that it is not lawful to marry a person who was previously married. Jesus himself said (Matt 5:32) that anyone who marries a divorced person commits adultery, so every act of intimacy with person who is divorced even in marriage, while the ex is alive, is adultery and unless it is repented of, does not lead to a good place (1 Cor 6:9). Even if the previous spouse committed adultery and you are innocent. Jesus said in Matt 19:11 that not all humans can receive this truth, but this is the will of God. If a person is to remarry, God will make a way and if not, carry that cross (Matt 16:24) and trust that something better is waiting for you in heaven if you suffer here for a little bit. Don't add or take away from the bible (see Revelation 22:18-19), trust that if Jesus could see prophecy from the time of Babylon until the end of the world (Dan 2), that he knew how we would be the most happy in marriage and he wrote that in the bible...and what the church permits or what man is doing, isn't it!
Thank you so much Pr Randy Skeete for the inspiration. I have a question ❓ If an unmarried girl willfully committed fornication where in the process she lost her virginity. And it happens that she dates another man different from whom she first had sex and lost her virginity. And she pretends to be virgin until they formally got married and the man finds out that she wasn't a virgin... What right approach should be taken? Should they break up there marriage or continue as husband and wife to make a home. If so then, since she was not virgin and got married to the man, will they go to heaven?
Only God judges who enters heaven (see 1 Corinthians 4:5). Not everyone will be saved (Matt 7:21-23), but we have all sinned and don't deserve heaven (Romans 3:23). I believe Luke 13:3, 5 is the key with sin...forgiveness with God (and man) starts with true repentance. Repentance means being sorry for what was done (fornication, lying), asking forgiveness (to God, spouse), going above and beyond to fix the wrong, accepting the consequences, and making a U-turn, which means not repeating the mistake. Marriage is for life and if entered by God (invoking His name, or with a pastor), no man was to separate it (Matt 19:6). If we are Christians, we are called to forgive each other, and the way we forgive others is the way God will forgive us (for what WE did wrong... Rom3:23). God will address the sin...forgiveness in God's eyes does not mean clearing the person who is guilty (Exodus 34:7)...this is why divorce seems to be allowed for unrepentant adultery (Jer 3:8, Matt 5:32, Deut 24:4). The one thing virtually no pastor talks about is RE-marriage after divorce and the bible has a lot to say if divorce happens (1 Cor 7:10-11, 39; Romans 7:1-2). Blessings Pastor, can you present Justification as what God actually does to each Soul during Justification. Is there a spiritual aspect. I’m thinking this is when a person is Born Again the miracle of the new birth. and receive Christ nature. Is this when we are made no longer natural men but spiritual men… is there a transformation? Please elaborate….thanks.
