For sure. Which specific model switch pro do you have? Actually if you can shoot a call back number with your questions to support@tackform.com I can have someone from our tech team ring you back. It will may this way smoother. We have a lot of options but Andrew or Erica on our team can get you dialed in super quick. All the best! Nik
For sure. I'll snap a picture and send it over. Can you drop an email to support@tackform.com? I'll jump in my Tacoma and snap a pic. In short you'll want to go into the cigarette lighter adapter location in the front cubby, in front of the cup holder. We include the charging plug. If you go into the OEM USB port for Car play it doesn't put out enough power for wireless charging. There is a way to route the cables behind the radio to clean it up. Once you shoot over an email I'll send over some picture for you. I routed my cables behind the radio.
For sure! We have guys buy all the time for that vehicle. we'll get a full kit up for you.. We used to sell it this way with our previous model bar clamp but haven't set this up for the new clamp yet. Thanks for the heads up!
Just received it, but it scuffed the dash when it fell off, as there may be a difference in the Raptor dash size compared to the other Broncos. So, I added 3m tape on the base, then tightened it down, and now it's secure.
Looks awesome. Quick question - you mention the ability to mount multiple devices from it (phone + radio) which is exactly what I need, but I can't seem to find a product on your site that would let me do that. Could you help me out here?
For sure. Shoot a message to support@tackform.com and let us know which radio you have. We'll set up the kit for you. In the next week or so we should have the builder set up to build your own. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I just ordered one with a phone mount, can’t wait to get it, it looks amazing. I can’t say I was looking for something like this, because I’ve never seen anything like it, very cool design.
This is absolutely amazing. What a simple design but to make it to just simply work with something that's already part of the vehicle is fantastic. Best mounts in the game.
Hey Chris -Great question. Because it's making full surface contact, with no stressed contact points, little to no chance. I've been using mine in my Bronco pretty aggressively and there where zero signs of wear.
I just purchased this over the other top ones simply because it’s simpler but also allows me to use whatever case or options on my phone and still use the holder. Can’t wait to try it out.
For sure. We decided against it. It would make the footprint of the bracket very large, we where going for a lower profile look, yet made it more rigid and stable with internal supports. The trackball is just as reliable, easier to reposition, install, remove, and it's a lower cost to the customer. Aside from people possible having an extra AMPS Mount laying around are there any other benefits, in this application to using an AMPS? Don't get me wrong we love AMPS mounts, we offer them in every size, (17, 20, 22, 25.4, 26, 38 etc) and in every shape (diamond, Round, Standard Rectangle) and in many applications it's the choice solution, but for this specific application we've just found people like this design more, for functionality, looks as well as cost.
@@jeffreyengle2762 Awesome you'll love it. In short this version is better than the other suction we displayed in the video. The suction you purchased is far superior to the other model we reference.
@@TackForm there’s only one thing that a question and that is the fact that if this is mounted to the windshield, won’t the 12 inch long extension move from side to side with the inertia of my driving? I wonder if there isn’t some way to somehow keep that extension in place, so it doesn’t do that?
@@jeffreyengle2762 The best thing to do if you have a long dash is position the arm to touch the dash. We have a part called an "Arm Rest" for this. It will stabilize it. www.tackform.com/products/ar-rst1-the-arm-rest-arm-support-and-cable-management-system
For sure! The extension is an add-on component that you connect and insert at the elbow joint. Most of our components run off of an Aluminum Ball and socket system vs rubber. Our ball is 20mm in diameter which is a tad smaller than the 1" Rubber Ram Ball, although it's designed to support the same weight load, but with a slightly lower profile footprint. Feel free to shoot an email to support@tackform.com and we can answer any questions you may have.
@@RussellHogan Sure thing. Shoot over an email with your order number, or drop it here. Then I can see what you already have. In general, there's typically multiple ways to accomplish the same goal. If the mount you purchased comes with the TF-AR-07 Modular Arm with Elbow Joint, then you only have to purchase the TF-AR-04 Extension and nothing else. :) ~ Nick
The suction cup alone is by far superior than anything else out there, that's not including everything else that's in this kit. This is why Tackform is the best in the game.
These are hands down the best motorcycle mounts made on the planet earth. They are orders of magnitude better than the proprietary locking systems, which in my opinion, are just a marketing wank.
Just received my phone holder today and I love the way it looks on the bike. Haven't had a chance to see how it does on the road at a good rate of speed but so far I'm truly satisfied and it truly seems to have a firm grip on my Samsung A12 when I attached it.
This is just demonstrating the function of the cradle part. It has a universal connection type called AMPS on the back that can connect to any of our arms and mounting bases. You usually purchase it as a full kit.
