hey, i have some questions about that to make more money with music. Is there any chance to play for what song you can choose, or you make your own song ideas? and it's there anything chance that to do every week or days to play somewhere to go? cause i make arts and put them on sell (and i have autism and ADHD)
I have a question. Im interested in doing this as side hustle. My question is can i make money without being hired by someone to sing? I feel like i like to do song covers and create my own original songs.
I'm a Kalimba player, and I haven't found the courage to busk with it, what if ppl don't like the instrument, I can't play guitar and I'm not good with the Piano.
I am a 20 year old singer/musician from Texas I love singing it’s been a love/passion of mine for pretty much my entire life. I do covers on Instagram just not good at making my own stuff like songwriting, producing etc. I would definitely need a team to back me up. I don’t really want to sound cocky But I know vocally I have a lot of potential with the range/versatility in my voice I just really and truly need to make a name for myself.
Hi Mars, would love to know more about the other higher-quality ways to make money as a singer-songwriter online. :) Also, thank you for this video. It was very insightful, and I can't wait to implement some of these and see where it goes!
I live here in Japan and noise is not allowed in most, if not all apartments, and I feel hesitant to do the recording. What best strategy could you recommend?
-hire a public studio room or a home studio someones renting. -talk to your neighbours about your concerns (this is important!) Most people will be happy to text you or knock if your too loud instead of calling in a noise compliant. -soundproofing. -big blankets under door gaps, and windows closed and covered thickly. -stick to the same hours every day, ask the nieghbours what time works best for them as well. - call landlord and explain; your noise concerns, what you have done to manage it, your communication with other tennants so far, and a personal contact option so they can contact u instantly if theres a complaint. -ALWAYS ask the nieghbours whenever you see them if your too loud, they will appreciate. I've found most people dont know any singers personally and they find it kind of interesting, dont forget to offer your nieghbours and landlord a chance to get involved or learn something. Asking if they know someone who would could result in a collab you didnt know you needed. 😊
