Have 570 2014 white lightning. Upgraded bandit shocks removed stabilizer bar. 4,500 lb winch. Upgrade clutch, 1/2 windshield, Polaris doors. Had wheel spacers then took them off. Love it in the bush in northern Sask and Alberta. Don’t drive it like an idiot, do proper maintenance and it lasts a long time. Gets through a lot of stuff. It keeps up with larger side by sides.
Looks like a nice machine. Was thinking about getting one of these for my wife and daughter. Ive got a Sportsman with the same engine and it seems to have plenty of power.
I’m 6’2 200lbs. It’s fine power wise. For a 570 keep in mind but it’ll get me up any hill and pulls through the mud. The seats are small it’s no 1000 but I can fit through 4wheeler trails that other SxS can’t. It’s a fun rig
Just got a free 1991 Kawasaki Bayou 220 from a guy my son-in-law works for. It's no cream puff but it's all there and looks to be worth the effort to get back on the trail. I don't know that it needs brakes but I'm assuming it needs just about everything so I found your video. I've seen other videos and yours is the best. Really good job. I could see what you were doing.. you explained it all very well ..good audio quality as you did the job and I'd give this video a 10! You said something that I didn't quite understand in that these Bayou's have 2 brakes on the front 2 wheels but only one back wheel has a brake!?! Did I hear that right?? If that's true then it makes sense why when you order a set of brake shoes they offer them as 3 sets of 2 (for a total of 6 shoes). I couldn't figure that out but you may have cleared that up for me. Ok well thanx man..great video! 👍
Yes there are two brakes in the front and one on the rear. I was fixing that one for a friend and there wasn’t many videos so I figured I’d make one. Thanks for the positive comment 👍🏼 Glad it helped
I’ll have to check the clearance that’s something I didn’t think to measure when I put the lift and tires on. I don’t bottom out much it’s petty easy to pick a good line with how compact it is.
@@dustyrides3714 yeah I've got a 570 and if I didn't have rock sliders the plastic would be decimated at this point and I'm sick of slaming on rocks all the time
@@dustyrides3714 mines still on 25s I'm trying to keep a narrow wheel bad with good clearance that's why I like the 570 because you can make your own trail the 900s and 1000s are to wide
Smart going with the 9 inch widths. I went with the 11” rear tires just to add a bit of stability to the higher platform. I also did connected my sway bars. I run my 570 with 900 and 1000s. Yeah they are better suited but I am still on the trail having fun. I stick with them. I tow them out and they tow me out. 🙂
I enjoy your videos!! Not much out there anymore since rzr rocks went to Chinese crap. I have 2019 eps570 rzr. Have you done anything with your clutch when you went up to 30's?
Need more 570 videos plz. Your setup is perfect only thing I would do different is run a zilla 30 x9 and do a clutch but very informative did all the legwork for.my build. Thank you
i put same one on my 570 an dam it was loud i had to put stock back on hows your 570 holding up how many miles you got out of it i sold mine an regret it .
Got a 2016 that I bought new, installed an OutKast S kit on it with 29x9-14 & 29x11-14 bighorn Turbo takeoffs, has 17” of clearance in front & 15” in the rear. Been to Windrock TN several times & a bunch of long weekends at Hatfield/McCoys WV, Goes anywhere XP1000s go, just a little slower.
I own a 2017 Polaris RZR 570 ESP that is one wicked little machine I went from stock 25s to 27 inch mega mayhems 2-in wheel spacer absolutely love it and it's got all the goodies to winch windshield front back spare tire Care Rock guards front and rear bumpers one badass little machine
So far I have big gun exhaust with their power commander, 2” bracket lift, super atv forward A-arms, 1/12 wheel spacers and 30x8x14 interco interforce tires. No rubbing
I just bought a 2018 Polaris 570 razor with 40 hours on it two days ago for $5,500 bucks . There’s no doubt I got ah deal . I’m a 52 year old man with garage full of toys I don’t ride an sure this will be same . Aside from there’s no way in hell I could justify paying $20 an $30 grand for a side by side that doesn’t have a/c , heat an wind shield wipers . An with this 570 yeah it might be smaller but it’s got enuf power in stock form that I have no concerns that in the woods I will easily stay on any 900 or 1000 tail . Only if come out of woods to a straight away would the bigger ones leave me . Unless in the woods the rider of bigger machine can just ride the hell out of it .
I love the video!! I went with 14” 27s for tires and ITP offset rims. Spacers make extra maintenance and they are not worth the $200 if they keep coming loose. I can still run 85-90 km/hr with ease. Oh yeah ditch the sway bars! It will articulate like a mofo.
@@dustyrides3714 you will find better trail and technical driving. It’s just a lot of body roll at higher speeds. I just switch the 2wd or turf mode on the open road. I like what you did to yours. I think I will go with 8 or 9 inch on all four wheels next tire up grade. Also check or MT Off-road’s channel. He takes a 570 and makes his own 4 seater and upgrades the tie rod ends with Toyota RAV4 tie rods for a monster upgrade. It’s nice knowing there are a few others out there who actually mod their 570’s. Its a low budget sleeper considering the 570 Ranger is a lot of machine running the same power plant! I subscribed.
It’s a 2019 I’m not sure how many hours I have on it. The only thing I can think of is the front driveshaft u-joint needs replaced it’s getting noisy and the factory ones you can’t grease so that’s something I’m going to upgrade. I haven’t had a problem out of mine. Still running the original belt even with larger tires.
@@dustyrides3714 As the saying goes for motorcycle riders loud pipes save lives!! It just might pee off your grandpa's!! And the obnoxious neighbors!! That seems to always have excitement in their lives!! LOL!... 👌👍👍👏👏
@@dustyrides3714 I got a ranger 570 midsize and got mma 2.5 inch lift and satv forward an arms. Have 29.5 ol2’s. Look at those tires or something not so ruff like ol2’s
@@dustyrides3714 me personally I would probably go with big horns 27-9-14 or!! 27-9-12!! I still have the factory 12" aluminum rims!! Which are lighter!! Maybe that will help with horsepower!! And keep the whaer down on the belt!! Hopefully!! Good luck!.. 👌👍👍🙌👏👏
