Welcome to my channel. I'm currently doing interview with Folk groups from Yilan International children's folklore and folkgame festival, Taiwan to collect folk dances & music of different cultures. Here are notes of interview : folkgame.blogspot.com
Kamikadze WWII Greetings from Taiwan. Here (and with friends around world), we do international folk dances as an interest and learn different cultures through it. There are folk dance teachers invited from all over the world for camps or workshops.
@@881terror Usually once a year, but there are more than one organizers which holds different activities here. And yes, we do have some folk friends from Slovakia, such as Juraj Hammer (is now director of SLUK), 6 or 7 children ensembles from Bratislava or other cities/towns in different years. However, because of the COVID-19, most large scale activities are cancelled. Let's hope it could be eased soon.
@@881terror Probably I am the only one who did mostly. I'm (with a friend) working for the festival as project interviewers for music/dance. We take videos & do in-depth interviews with ensembles to let Taiwan people know more about folk culture. Here is the blog from interviews, but all in Mandarin😅 folkgame.blogspot.com/?m=1
