So your running stock spindles? How’s your tie rod angle? I have stock everything but 2 inch rear lift coils and 3 inch h keys but I got hellish tie rod angle and on bumps and dips in the road it sways everywhere cause the suspension extended pulls the tie rods in and when it comes back down they go out and is all over the road. It feels like the wheels are cambering but the steering wheel doesn’t move
What gearing are you running .. never heard you mention it. Figure with 35's you'd running 4.86's to 5.11's. I guess if your going to be a mall crawler then gearing wouldn't matter.
@@CoLlINs20131995 With those tires you no longer have 3.55’s .. do the math .. you’re now up in the 2.73’s .. and no lockers so definitely a mall crawler
@@sonny1597 bigger tires with no re-gear does not equal mall crawler. Of course when you change tire size in either direction it’s going to change some things but the truck still does great. I use my truck as a truck. I may not swamp it to the headlights but I still ride trails, mud, and haul a trailer just fine
do you mind if you can share the parts list with me? im trying to make a new channel and im wanting to lift my 01 Tahoe! BTW awesome yukon you got there!
Me and a buddy did everything. It's not hard with a few basic tools and some mechanical knowledge. Just be sure to use jack stands on level ground and you'll be alright
Put 3 inch keys and rear blocks in my 01 tahoe 4x4. New power steering pump and eliminated the evo steering sensor with a Dorman 026-049 bypass tube kit. Drives like a dream and my wife won't give it back☹
Nice ! Just got me a Z71, looking at something similar to this. Do uou happen to know if the 12.50 tires will work with 1.5" spacers on resr, or does it have to be the full 2" to push it out far enough?
I just put the Supreme 3" kit on my 03 Hoe. Sort of wish I got 2" rear instead of 3" because of the rake. Now I need to find some 35's. Do you have your keys cranked all the way?
Thanks for the love! I actually sold it last year but I did plenty of off-roading with it. It handled itself very well. It would obviously get itself in a bind if it was flexed out on some crazy angles, but for a key lift it was fantastic
I actually sold it last year but it did great off road. When turned at full tilt and flexed out it would try to bind up a little bit nothing crazy. Remember, it's just a key lift so the geometry isn't ideal but it got the job done for sure
