IT governance is all about ensuring your IT infrastructure is running, and when it stops running, to have appropriate mitigation processes in place to minimise any loss of business due to its IT downtime. That is its core purpose. I’ve learned this after spending almost 30 years in IT. Don’t overcomplicate it.

Very good slides, for this topic i know that IT Governance are responsible by everybody in the organization.. My question is, currently there are IT GRC function in the organization so is it means the IT governance just be responsibility of IT GRC unit? If no, then whats the IT GRC function or role related to IT Governance and risk management?
