Great question! You can have an infinite number of lists with the new SawGear Touch. It comes standard with Cut List Downloading. Happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Feel free to reach out to sales@tigerstop.com. Take care.
Why yes, math! We are happy to clarify. If you are cutting hundreds or thousands of miter angles and want to optimize or nest the cuts to get the best use of your raw material based on a specific cut/job list, this software helps you automatically do that resulting in minimal scrap waste.
Are there any systems that don’t expand to the left? I’m space constrained. So can’t stick out much past the factory fence. (About 112” of clearance on an 8’ cut)
Hello- we can attach our machines to many types of saws- both straight cut and miter saws. We have software built into SawGear that compensates for mitered angles when cutting crown. We also have a fully automatic optimizing miter saw system called TigerSaw MiterXL. We'd love to discuss more! Feel free to reach out to sales@tigerstop.com
The music in the background has some beeping if that is what you are referencing? The machine makes a soft high pitch noise that you might be hearing as well. That just means that the motor is moving to keep the stop in position and accurate to +/-.008". In a live shop environment the noise can barely be heard. Let us know if you have any additional questions! Thanks.
Hi Ben! It ranges in price quite significantly depending on the length of your raw material and the weight. We are happy to put together a quote for you if you'd like? We can be reached at sales@tigerstop.com. Thank you!

I always wondered why just using my blade thickness in measuring cuts always gave me a slightly skewed result. This seems like a much better way of doing incredibly accurate cuts.
in the manuf. of a saw blade any saw blade every other tooth is bent outword ( left and right) this keep the blade from binding does any one remember why you would use a small sewing needle to check the kerf im 87 yrs old i have my dads henry diston i dont have any idea how old it is they build houses back with a hand saw you had to sharpen them back then
You can use the controller as a calculator to find a position. For formulas I would suggest using a spread sheet then downloading the spreadsheet to the TigerStop.
Rod, There are quite a few variables as each system is configured based on your requirements. If you want to go through it with me let me know the best way to contact you.
That is mostly true. Your kerf is the amount of material removed during a cut. In a chop saw or uncut material is removed going up and down. Kerf will vary depending on blade width, sharpness of the blade and blade wobble. It can also vary on mitered cuts depending on the angle of cut.To get an accurate kerf measurement measure a piece of material. Cut it in half. Put the 2 parts together and measure again. The difference is your kerf. I hope that helps! Keep in mind most people are not concerned about the amount of accuracy this will bring you and are happy with a variance of 1/32 or more.
Good morning, is possible inverted the direction of measure reading,? Example now start to read from right to left. Can i revesde and start to read from left to the right?
Absolutely! This video should help ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VwuM0YPryco.html. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Hi Warren! Thanks for the inquiry. In the video we are measuring in imperial, but all TigerStop products can easily switch between both measurement systems. The following video shows how to quickly change from imperial and metric: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h8icQCfALlQ.html. We are happy to assist further if need be.
