I had a brick backsplash like yours. I updated with a 50/50 white paint/water solution. It made a lovely white wash with a nice rustic look. I think that would look very nice in this instance.

Living in nevada and i can say most of the people i know who are now 18, myself included are voting blue so we can have a future. If you vote for trump and are a women, i will laugh at you when you loose all your rights to your body if he wins. If you vote for trump, you vote for the end of democracy and freedoms. I see all of rhe negative comments and Im sorry for the lack of tact. I believe that you guys took on this job for the first time without knowing the correct way or the best products to use. Next time you take on a project, share what you're going to do, and ask viewers opinions about how to, etc. I researched & prepared long before I painted my kitchen cabinets. I learned what I needed and then I went to buy my products. But never buy the paint & primer at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. I got my primer and paint at Benjamin Moore store. They have the best in my opinion. The paint is called a Urethane Alkyd Enamel & it goes on smooth like an oil paint, its not though, and dries very smooth & hard. If youre satisfied though, then thats all that matters 😊 if not, research some channels with professional painters on how to paint your kitchen cabinets. First time I painted my bathroom vanity, it did not look good. So when I decided to paint kitchen, I wanted better results. I still have a vanity that doesnt look too good but I'll get to it eventually 😊❤
Thank you so much for the encouraging review. We are planning to smooth sand the exterior and then use the paint ` Urethane Alkyd Enamel ` or `Benjamin moore Adv`. Any recommended brushes to get smooth finish.
@NatKus9 I would use the small roller called Whizz Applicators. Theyre really exceptional..and only use a brush to get in cracks & crevices. Dont do thick coats...just roll on your first coat, let dry & then lightly sand, wipe and do your next coat. I did 3 coats and that was 2 years ago. Yes, thats the best paint. You'll see the difference..Good luck 😊❤️❤️❤️
