Reeves should not be traded- but he should not be starting. He is an ideal 6th man, because he hustles his ass off. Biggest detriment: he gets overpowered too often on D, but not for want of hustle. He's just slower than most of the guys he guards. Problem is, the Lakers have no one better to be starting.
At this point in his career he shouldn't have to put up 30points. He should be able to go put up 18/7/7 and that should be more than sufficient. Facts. I’m oldschool, but I’m not bias 1 bit and I understand evolution. I was super nice in basketball in my day. But as my little nephews, and cousins got older they developed skill that I never used. Now my nephews and cousins have better dribble and more than what I had. True, old heads do deserve flack for constantly shitting on the newer era. I think all eras are great in their own right though. Today's players are more skilled and talented on average than previous generations due to the evolution of the game, but that doesn't take away from the previous legends of the game. They set the precedent for these players to follow. As for this whole thing, a lot of it had to do with the GOAT Debate between MJ and LeBron, which in reality is really just subjective. If you think LeBron's the GOAT, that's fine with me. I have him as the GOAT too. But if you think MJ is the GOAT, I don't have a problem with that either.
