Caught her in Manchester earlier this year. Amazing talent. Real connection to everything she plays. Her new album has “breakthrough” written all over it. Long overdue. ❤
@@randalbladel2817 Totally meant getting commercial sales - no need for breakthrough with those who love this type of music - she's been up there for years. I just think that a number of the songs on the new album are more likely to get wider airplay? Totally personal opinion. To be honest I'm personally conflicted, I'd love to see her get the financial reward her talent deserves but would hate to have to go see her in much bigger venues. BTW I'm coming at this from a UK PoV. Saw her at Band in Wall in Manchester earlier this year (400 level capacity - great atmosphere) and she was buying her dinner in the foodhall close by when we were having our pre concert meal. My sort of venue, my sort of artist 🙂
