@@dokejminecraft8680 my videos are no longer shown to subscribers when I upload, and none of my videos are suggested to viewers anymore. My videos used to get millions of views, and now I am lucky to get 10,000 views on a video. I can't even make the money I spend on materials back with the ad revenue.
@@DavidGuyton Thanks brother. I am going to try this on one of my broken pieces to test it out. Last question; what is the substance you are painting on it in the beginning to harden the fleece to the dash?
@@DavidGuyton thank you! I've been following you since finding and buying your original gauntlet and helmet plans 11 or 10 years ago to build with high school metalwork students (I've since bought other ones too). I have 2 teens right now adapting the spartan wraith helmet designs and we really appreciate seeing your techniques and style of building!
what is it called to do the 3d sculpture in a flat piece of metal? i'm trying to find more information on this thank you for you time and your videos. such huge insperation
I can't find your email anywhere but I had a few questions for you. Would you ever be willing to make a visored barbute helm? Would you ever be willing to make a crown of thorns? Would you mesh them together and then make a video and sell the templates? I will buy them if you do! Your work is fantastic and I have already bought a few of your templates and they are great!
Unfortunately RU-vid has completely crushed my channel. It's just not worth spending all the time and money to do a project anymore. I spent 10x the amount of ad revenue I received just buying the materials. Without RU-vid serving my videos to viewers, there's just no point in making videos anymore. I now focus on high end commissions.
So what you're saying is "hey stop shooting, my armor is getting too heavy!" ? XD The other question is: is it preferrable to get hit by a slower projectile? Rather than something striking you with the speed of light and your arm disintegrates.... maybe...?
I made his futuristic gauntlet for my masterpiece project for sheet metal trade school. It was the only time someone's made any armor and everybody loved it. Thanks bud!
Hey i was on your store trying to buy the template but every time i press buy it says processing payment and never gives me the template, i tried it 4 times
@@hammerode I don't see the email in my inbox or junk folder. Double check to make sure you typed it in correctly. Make sure you have the J in the middle d@davidjguyton.com
Kool video… I definitely learned a thing or two. The background music makes it hard to take in though. It definitely feels distractive. Constructive feedback. 🇦🇺🤛🏼🤜🏼😎🍀☮️
also ive used other stuff for hardening on my armor like replacing the epoxy with gorilla glue and pressing the foam down to make some flexible light knife proof armor
