This a Rotrex C38-92 supercharger unit. It sounds more like spinning ball bearings, not a whine from gear based centrifugal units. Kit also comes with an A2A setup already. 3rd, these kits can and do make over 500whp. The supercharger itself can make 600whp with the proper fuel system and breathing modifications. Idk about this car making 586 @10psi. It would take about 12-14psi depending on fuel and weather. This is a fairly basic boosted build. No motor work, basic port work, no cams, no E85, no meth, no return style system. Standard 659cc injectors, standard Walbro 255 pump. I'm adding JWT C2 cams, 1mm larger valves, port work, return system with a Walbro 450, ID1050X Injectors, ported TB's, Z1 headers, ported upper and lower manifolds, Ecutek tuning, and 93/E85 tunes. I'm gunning for 600whp on this unit and move to a C38R, larger FMIC, and ID1300X's if I want more.
EVEN 580 AT THE CRANK IS A LOT FOR THE 370Z SO FORGET THE RWHP CLAIM - AT THAT POWER LEVEL YOU ARE TOASTING THE REAR HIDES IN THE FIRST 3 GEARS AT EASE - STILL A NICE CAR.
Cool video. The view at 0:46 must have been great in person, but the views there in general look awesome. The drone footage looks great as well. Nice one! How was the snorkeling or haven't you been snorkeling that much?
LoL dead in the water o0 how can 580 WHP RWD car be so slow ? o0 omg my car is beraly 370 hp to the crank and its not much slower then that if it is at all.
After reviewing the video he did manage 0-100mph in 10 seconds flat with an extra passe ger in the car and a horrible take off and shift into 2nd sk it is pushing:)
Sorry but I do not believe this car does 586 at the wheels... based in the run at 1:22 I'd say closer to 490-500 at the wheels... but I'm just guessing...
I'm just going by the force of the acceleration, not the time it takes so traction control or launch control doesn't factor in... plus to my knowledge I think everyone with these 370Z's are getting high 400s for wheel horsepower on these types of kits... how did you get 580 when everyone else is getting almost 100 hp less?
If he's running an air to air kit then 586 whp is definitely plausible. Look on the Z forums and search on youtube, there's someone using that kit and makes similar numbers.
