Hi Akansha, thanks for writing your query Regarding purchasing gold in Bhutan & bringing it to India - no we do not have to pay any additional taxes but ofcourse if you bring in more than what is allowed for male/female then you will have to bare the duty taxes. Hope this helps, have a great trip 😊

I am also planning a trip to Bhutan so wanted to confirm can we bring gold from Bhutan to India without paying additional tax as I have seen in some video they are telling that we need to pay additional custom duty while coming back to india
