Coburn was actually training for in like flint. But contiued to train with lee and the two formed a genuine friendship that was to continue until lees tragic passing in 1973. To bad that these two didnt get to finish their silent fluit project
One if the greatest people what he taught me as a young man shaped who I am today. He wasn't just a sensei but I life coach. Pushing yourself past where you think you could go because you knew you could give more. Thanks you sensei
Be nice to see this gentleman at regular speed, i.e. not sped up. Well, it is that way later in the video. This is the kind of kumite I like to see, continuous at close quarters. Whether going light and technical or hard, its much closer to replicating a self-defense situation than the bouncy-bounce point sparring done my so many schools today.
СН is a real karateka, not like the fake "master" of kung fu, BL (who, except for movie fights, never participated in any real competitions). BL was just an actor and a businessman. But not a fighter (any normal boxer or UFC fighter would have destroyed this BL in a couple of minutes)
I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Sanders when he was head of security at 1 of the hospitals in Los Angeles. And he is also good friends with my sincere Doctor Ron Chappelle. Both of the gentlemen Deserve all of the honors that anybody or anything can give them
American dragon 🐉🐲 American bull ♉🐂 American buffalo 🐃🦬 and American eagle 🦅🦅 American fish 🐠🐟 what is the true spirit of a dragon out of it's natural habitat
there is also an Arcade version called "The Kung-Fu vs. Karate Champ" with it's only character "Best Karate" based off of Ralph Macchio from The Karate Kid.
If you believe got a boxer can really fight wonder what he would do if his arms were broken and then you break a boxer spine what would he have then see real fighters have you ever noticed that's why they need that's rules and a ring and the pathetic 10 count it's a not real fighting it's a joke just like America has always been in boxing that you keep trying to praise wasn't even discovered in America it was actually invented in England that ridiculous wrestling that you keep praising that was invented in Greece there are no rules in a death battle none and you better learn to use every part of your body your vision and hearing better be the same constantly reading the enemy offense and defense as the same but striking from every position being ready for whatever will come while staying calm loose and relaxed and accepting life and death as one real fighters understand that but then again anything American was never real to begin with
Bruce Lee is one of my heroes. He is the reason I got into martial arts. Fanboys get disproportionately offended whenever anyone says anything even remotely opposed to the notion that Bruce Lee is anything other than the Achilles of his generation. But at some point, you have to wipe the doe from your eyes and grow up. Just like Miyamoto Musashi only fought on a Sengoku battlefield ONCE in his life, on the side that lost, and chose all his duels carefully, employing trickery and manipulation in the most well known one, Bruce was a showman, who had significant skill that was rarely properly tested due to careful curation. He was more a scholar than a warrior.
The Reality is totally different than movies 🎥 if Bruce lee participate in any competition I’m sure he will win and loose like every fighter , speed of punches doesn’t determine the winner in any competition There are other elements, such endurance, resistance, and combat techniques, which will not only be achieved through training, but also through real competition with different opponents
Not a fan of point fighting. I prefer full contact- no holds barred but with padded gloves, foot gear and protective head gear. A fighter can easily get killed in these fights. Huge respect for both fighters. I believe that Joe would have beat Norris in a full contact bout.
Check out our 'Golden Era of Martial Arts' video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IhdSNTPQrO4.html The point fighters evolved to full contact fighting others around the world.
This give it more perspective. Respect to both martial artist. The main clipsv that's been shown for years is what folks kept using as references. Thanks for the extra angles and different footage. Overall i believe Vic was genuinely just telling his side of the expedition They need to start putting this in the movies.
The axe in the head scene looked way more realitsic than i first thought. I can see why it was cut out. And hasn't fully came out as of yet besides the stills.
