Hi Nick, it has front and rear drum brakes with dual circuit hydraulic control, hydraulic pressure assistance and load sensing proportioning valve. You might like to have a look at the full spec sheet for 'Bonnie' here: www.nti.com.au/about/community/truck-restorations-for-mnd-research
Hello awesome video, I'm just starting my 1948 BK1 project truck, and am looking to see how to take the chrome off the front grille. Any help would be greatly appriciated Thank you Keith
I'm from the Northern Territory and let's just say that our MC's can go for 3 trailers or longer. Unlike the southern states, we can have these 50 metre plus road trains driving nearly everywhere throughout the territory, except for in the CBD of Darwin
I just realized I watched a video for astralian drivers. Was confused when they showed hr mr and lr for the last trucks. We just say class a. Rarely class b.
Jeff Barber Bribie Island. When I was 17 and older, I used to drive an old ks5 Inter. just like that one. A slightly lighter shade of green, no doors, and an extended tray. Spent lots of time on maintenance and rebuilt the old flat head 6 once. Great work restoring that old unit. There was one on Bribie Island a few years ago, same green colour, not sure where it is now. It was for sale when i saw it. Great old work trucks, tough as nails.
I was a Truckie in melbourne 25 years and drove all the Shitty semi they gave me.I am 63 and know Melbourne well. What you kinda said and its true, but the best way and the only way to drive is to know how the cars drivers drive.ou don't only have a load or know your truck, you have to read the traffic and take into how its running who is going to jump in front but all around you. That is how driving is.Its the antipatioin of what you think is going to go on and you know it,cause it will happen.
@@jasonoakes9659 G'day Jason, the outcomes have been positive, several of the operators who used the prototype in the video have gone on to order rigid drawbar converter dollies for their own fleets. Although I think probably the most significant outcome from the project is itself another project, to review how couplings are rated. The purpose of that project is to facilitate tri-axle rigid drawbar converter dollies.
Sea Dreams I must go down to the seas again, to the endless ocean tide, And all I ask is a sturdy yacht and the stars to steer her by; As the waves kick and the winds blow and the main sail’s shaking, A ghostly mist arises, as the grey of dawn is breaking. I must go down to the seas again, for the breath of the endless tide Whispers my name, it calls me, it cannot be denied; All I ask is a windy day to fill my sails for flying, To feel the spray upon my face and hear the sea-gulls crying. I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life, Where the gulls fly and the whales breach, where the wind cuts like a knife; All I ask is a merry tale from a lonely fellow-rover, A quiet sleep, and a sweet dream when the long sail’s over.
