No other guitar player could “touch” this song. Richard Wright of Pink Floyd loved this song like so many other musicians guitar player or not. When Richard knew he was losing his battle with cancer he called Jeff and asked him to play “Where Were You” at his memorial service. David Gilmour said JB came to the memorial service with his guitar and amp, no pedals. He played the song flawlessly. A song that David has said is “just impossible”. RIP Jeff Beck. Thank you for all your beautiful music and a standard of guitar playing that only a precious few others will ever obtain.

I went at 3 am and stood in line till 8:00 am, paid like 10 or 15 € and got a sealed bracelet. The concert was special, like 800 people, civilized and all hardcore fans. The Olympia is a small concert hall, the balcony was FULL of "local celebrities" that DID Not make the line, and Bowie was pissed when he realized that: he looked at theI see that balcony and said with a grin" Oh ,I see the tout Paris is here (very depreciating, the expressions referring to mondane idiots....) ". He wanted to sing only for FANS, and the balcony was full of record bosses, few politics, not to speak about the idiots that wanted to attend the concert for showing their social status. He never focused on the balcony, interacting with the fans ONLY. Saw him 15 times in concerts,in medium halls or festivals, from Outside in 95-96, Earthling (amazing 2-3 hours concerts in Amsterdam clubs and in festivals) ,HEATHEN (OLYMPIA, later two days in a row at the Zenith, he changed from one concert some songs for second one). Last concert "the Reality Tour"... missing him badly, honestly ❤....but have wonderful memories. Love and great legacy 🏆👍💫

IMO the best Bowie concert ever, best musician line up, sad it has´nt been shoot on film (equal to 5 x HD). One of my favorite part are from 1.15.54 Hello Spaceboy HEAVY energy and the soulfully Lets Dance right after. David Bowie was so golden. RIP ❤
WOW! I love the tight guitar & drums, bold bass, melodic synthesizer & backing vocal. Of course, Bowie has sexy & gentle voice, and I like the mix with the band. Amazing band.
