My Instagram (Bike Guy Cody)… I try to post every week on Fridays. make sure to subscribe it helps a lot … hope you enjoy... peace out, stay safe, and keep on riding
That was a good ride, Cody. We all had fun. I would have loved to see video of the tire repair. We were a funny pitt crew for sure. It was hot that day.
Yea it was so fun I wish it was a little cooler so we could have rode for like 30 more minutes to and hour but it was just so hot and it drained us pretty good
@rotorblade7363 yea we will have to I got some bike issues and I really wanna go to a bike park this summer so I’ll do that first and then in the fall I’ll do like cowels and all that good stuff
This works, its a cheap way of increasing puncture resistance. But adds a bit of weight to the wheel. Tyre liners are lighter and tougher and more puncture resistant but you would need to buy them whereas using an old tube its essentially free.
Aligning the stem has always been a challenge to me and this trick looks good. I also have trouble lining up my seat. I wonder do you know if pro teams have a device to help do this fast and super accurate? I know they use a device to align brifter hoods and get the brake levers precisely located.
Honestly I just thought of something now that you said that it won’t work with ever seat but I bet if you look at the back of the seat where the rails are and light it up with the frame it should work that’s good maybe I’ll make a video on it… I’m glad you liked the video I appreciate you watching it 🙏🏻
Well that all depends on how bent they are if they are to bend well then you’d just get a new one right🤷🏻♂️😂 but if they are just a little the point where you should look should still be fine and still should be able to get them fairly straight if not then it’s probably a good idea to get them replaced
@@bikeguycody I bent the fork on my 24in BMX and have ridden it for years since, not doing anything beyond yeeting off curbs though. On my mountain bike I think I'd be quick to replace it if it bent 😂
@samstrolia oh haha yea definitely a mountain bike you could probably bend them back on the bmx if they are really that bad just don’t bend them back to much lol could snap a weld
That old Garry fishing is my daily ride for work and food the red schwinn was one of the bikes I started on that doesn’t fit me at all anymore so it’s a parts bike now the yellow one was another starter bike for me that need some work a few couldn’t ride anymore so he gave it to me and the other black iron horse was another bike that I got from a friend that didn’t want it anymore so yeah basically they all just need heavy work done to them just haven’t gotten around to it I usually just keep the few bikes I have running and keep those going and yes I do do a little mechanical work on bikes to I’ve had a friends bike in a few times and I’ve worked on some family members bikes to
Thanks I really tried my autism doesn’t help much but I really tried to make it understandable I’m glad you could understand me these how to videos are really where i struggle to explain things but definitely gotten better over the years😂 I’m glad you enjoyed it and I hope it helps I’ll have more how to’s coming in the future for riding skills and more bike hacks and all that good stuff🙏🏻🙏🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
ya i don't know about drinking that water. i'm pretty sure it's contaminated from the air force base. it's ridiculous that the drinking fountain in the park is still shut off. nice video maybe i'll bump into you on the trails one of these days
It’s called Chicopee memory state park if you download trails forks it should be free and you can look at trails theres Green Circle: Easier. Blue Square: More Difficult. Black Diamond: Most Difficult. Double-Black Diamond: Extremely Difficult, Use Extra Caution.
@@bikeguycody Ah I didn't personally feel the bike I just got a chest level perspective, didn't look like you had too much angle/slide but mud magic. Was never a dig just thought it was funny as someone who's been brutally stopped on a bike in similar ways, it's always a "how the fuck did that happen" afterward
@Steve-ii4wb for sure it was really weird I think maybe the front brake grabbed a little more maybe or maybe it was just the way my weight was idk all I know is when I turned the wheel didn’t spin and it made like a small dirt mound which is why i stopped and fell like that super weird I don’t think that’s ever happened to me before but yea very fun ride
Yea you gotta be very careful on how you clean it and not over clean it it gets water in the bottom bracket pretty easily and probably wanna upgrade the breaks
0:33...I'm just waiting for that clump of soil at the edge to give way. I avoid it like the plague. 2:54..that section is more than it looks in the video. A good whoop-dee-do up/down.
All the time when I would bike with Cody he would be like way ahead of me and I'm like I don't know this trail which way do I go and I'm yelling right or left! Haha😂
6:03...you removed the best feature of that trail. LOL We'll check that Park out some day. I prefer Robinson Park trails over by the Nat'l Guard base and dog park in Agawam/Feeding Hills.
I actually will be making a video on sizing and all that soon a lot of it is preference and everyone has different way there bodies are like you could have short legs but long arm so your arms my be good on a large bike but it my be to big for your legs I went with a large and I’m 5’10
These trails are away from the main park over near the dog park and the Army Guard base. I believe the street name is Maynard St off North St to the Army Guard base, then turn right to the dog park. If you go into the main park entrance, you might not find them, but there are trails there as well. From the park entrance you would turn right immediately toward the maintenance area and there is a trail entrance off the paved road, and that is a good distance from the dog park and the trails shown here. Continue straight from the entrance and down the hill and you find the shorter trails around the picnic areas. Nothing harder than blue. Good for new riders. BTW...that's the Westfield River at 23:59.
Thank I really appreciate it… yea great place I love it I wish I was closer you definitely have to work for the downhills 😂in the video in a few weeks we did 1,300 ft of climbing and 10 miles 😂😂😂I’m glad you enjoy though hope to see your comments in other videos as well 🙏🙏🙏
Yea they are very popular actually a lot of places are out of stock idk if they are back in stock mor but like 2 weeks ago I heard about it when I had to get my bike repaired for a next day ride… but yea they are pretty good they are a pain to bleed though I think I’ve been doing it wrong possibly but I’ll figure it out😂😂😂
Wow thanks that really means a lot everytime I drop a video i aways think there’s to much of this or that I need to be better I I need to this for editing I always need 2 angles or something so to hear this on a video like this I really appreciate it and I hope my future content make you feel the same way as well🙏🙏🙏
I’m getting so many questions on the bike so I’m actually gonna make a video on everything more in detail a lot of it you can see in the reveal video tho🙏so check that out there’s a long and short version on my channel that explains a lot… it’s a size L I’m 5’10 and it feels pretty good my legs and hands reach very well
I’m not sure yet I was thinking of getting a fid lock because it’s a small area but idk yet I’m looking into it once I have it all set I’ll probably mention it in a video
@ttracey1966 yea we had a lot of fun that day it was mostly filming and pictures it was real fun I feel bad though was a lot of stopping for pictures and clips
Really why I hope I didn’t miss lead you on anything I really try not to like most of the time shredding for me is going fast than I feel comfortable then there’s times when I’m actually shredding but yea I hope I didn’t miss lead you and if I did I hope you still enjoyed the video 🙏🙏🙏
