When did this place close? We were there around 1990 or so. Appeared to be going downhill back then. Owners appeared to be old and tired. Probably several owners since then? I remember hiking into an ice cave on the mountain nearby. All in all we had a good time.
This looks a lot better than when my boyfriend & I visited here in 2000. I had to take photos of everything because I knew my friends would never believe what it looked like. The living room had an opening through the wall looking into the bedroom with what looked like a sheet covering it. The curtains were made of paper mache. The bathtub had missing tiles & they were covered up with painted cardboard. No internet connection & we were told not to go out at night as there’s bears. Our reservation was for 2 nights & they refused to give us our money back after our staying there only one night. I felt as if I was in a 1970s porn movie. We demanded our $$$ back and finally the owner gave it to us. It looked like hillbilly red neck country & we needed to get out. The worst place I’ve ever stayed.
That place is a shithole we went there with another couple my husband and I and the girl and I went in the jacuzzi and it turned our hair blue we were blow drying our hair getting ready for dinner and all of a sudden we're looking at each other and we just bust out laughing our hair turned blue from the jacuzzi it was crazy that place was run down then and it still is I think they're out of business now
Went there with my wife 20 years ago and it was decorated like a bad Eagles record jacket. So dirty we wanted to turn around and leave but he had paid up front and they would not refund. Could be one of the worst places we ever experienced.
Hello Paula - I too worked there in the 80's. I was in the Kitchen with Chef Brown. I personally loved it and learned a lot. I am sure that you remember Pam and Dawn, Harris, Diane and Judy!! God Bless 🙏 😇
@Scotty I DO remember Dawn. I'm sure if I saw pictures of the others I would remember their faces, too. I was 16 when I worked there and my memory is crap now! 🤔
Wow what a difference from when I was there with my Husband years ago! This place was a nightmare then! Everything was moldy and filthy. We stayed in the one level cottage. It was truly the worst place I had every seen...so glad they seemed to have cleaned up the place your video looks nothing like what we were subjected to ...Thank GOD!!!!
