We had this exact room reserved for an August sailing but ended up moving to stay on the same deck as other family members. Did you notice any excessive noise from the pool deck above?
Great question! I actually booked this room specifically to find out if that was the case. And the answer is no. It was incredibly quiet for being just below the pool deck. I often forgot that I was so close.
I going to juneau Alaska in August and I'm so excited you just gave me one more place to visit lol the salmon hatchery. I'll be there 4 days and I can't wait to go.
My family and I are going on the Alaskan cruise in August. They seem to like to keep a lot of details secret ahead of time. Do you know when we will be able to see restaurant menus and what the themes will be (Frozen, Pirate Night, etc)? Thanks
This was our first Disney cruise and we booked it less than a week before departure. So I’m not sure exactly when everything is announced. I know booking excursions and the like depends on your Castaway Club level though. I don’t think we knew the menus until we were onboard and looking in the app. On our cruise we had a Frozen themed night and no pirate night. They did have a night when Captain Hook came out for pictures but there were no fireworks on our cruise. That kind of bummed us out. There was also one formal night and one semi-formal night.
@@exploreteria Did you know there was a Frozen themed night before you boarded? We are trying to get themed costumes ahead of time, but they won't tell us what the theme is. I am not sure what all the secrecy is about.
Sagway looks absolutely beautiful!!! Definitely want that on our itinerary when we visit. So sorry little one was not feeling well. 🙏🏻 lastly that butterscotch banana cream pie thingamajig looked delicious 😋! Thank you for sharing . Looking forward to the next one. ✌️ 🫶😊
Thank you for watching! Skagway was gorgeous, but I think my favorite spot was at the glacier in Juneau. We’ll have that up next week for your viewing pleasure. Lol. Thank you again for your support!
Good lord, the views at the Glaciers and the greenery and mountains WOW!! That was beautiful to see! And of course JOpunzel was THEE most beautiful princess. 😊💕Thank you for sharing your adventure. 😊🫶🚢
Thanks for watching! We booked last minute and got an interior room. In hindsight I would have preferred an ocean view or veranda for this particular cruise since the scenery in Alaska was so beautiful (make sure to subscribe as we have a video for glacier day on this trip coming out this week). We have a walkthrough of the room up on our channel. Head on over and check it out!
New subscriber here. Love your family and honest vlogs!! We’re planning our Disney Alaskan cruise for2026… we’re already booked for 2025 on Disney Magic for The new private destination. Thank you so much for subscribing! We really appreciate your support! You’re going to have so much fun on your Alaskan cruise, and going to Lookout Cay is awesome! Thanks for watching and all of your support. I hope you have an amazing time on your upcoming cruises!
This is the most honest cruise vlog I’ve watched like ever. Would you do an Alaska Cruise on a different cruise line? I know that the Wonder is an older ship and wasn’t really designed for colder climates….
Thank you so much for watching our little adventure! We’re so glad that you liked it! We actually will be heading back to Alaska in October aboard the Norwegian Bliss. Make sure to stay tuned for those vlogs as well. We appreciate your support!
There’s no way to pull off a cruise ship without putting effort into it. if you follow off a cruise ship, you were doing something stupid. The railings are nearly chest high. You’re not just gonna lean over and fall in.
People keep telling me that but I’ve never tried it. I think we gotta do it at least once. This has happened on almost all cruise lines though. Someone just fell off of a Royal Ship a couple of days ago.
I saw on the news this evening that Norweigan said that they're going to cover the guests costs of re-joining the ship - and I thought THAT'S SO RIDICULOUS !!! Those passengers deserved to be left behind and they should pay their own way to get back on the ship!
