я лично не видел бы смысла брать 650-й Гималайский, который будет дороже 450-го, вес больше, мощность чуть больше и двигатель воздушного охлаждения.... смысл? проще тогда 450-й взять.
In 1967 I had a YL1 100 twin jet later I had a 125 which was a better ride. But the 100 twin captured my heart and 50 years later I still own one and its a beautiful little bike. 😊
You could at least try to show the correct model whenever you mention it. Skipping complete model lines and decennia? Do your homework. Thumbs down for this AI generated nonsense.

Best bikes in the world for that "feel good factor". Simple designs fo works every time.r reliability and a great soundtrack. I bought a 350 Meteor 2 years ago and just love riding it. I have a more powerful 400 Honda and it stays in the shed, it's a characterless pain in the arse. If they put the 40hp 450 in the Meteor, I will swap, otherwise keep enjoying the 350. I am an old school engineer and KISS means "Keep it simple stupid" works for me.
I like the RE's because they remind me of my first road bike, the 1964 BSA Thunderbolt. At my age and limited income I can't afford a new bike, but have imagined buying a slightly wrecked RE and rebuild it to look like a 1960's BSA Power Egg
For me, they just went too far back in time to select a retro model. A revamped Thunderbolt or Lightning, just makes more sense to me for styling. Still classic, but more stylistic freedom to design something more spectacular for today's customers. Just my opinion, many will disagree and that's fine.
I have a 24 Tenere. I wanted an Africa Twin and saved for years but couldn't afford it. The T7 is a better bike anyway. Thank whatever gods exist I didn't buy a CVT/DCT.
The part about the 4 stroke dirt bike is not entirely correct. Way before the YZ-F there was a serious 4 stroke with world champion titles in motorcross: Husqvarna.
If you want to spend £20k + that is your choice,i prefer to spend less and get value for money,i don't see any of the £20k+ bikes doing long road trips, they are just for Sunday bike rides!I ride my Aprilia Tuono v4 1100rr from UK to Italy each summer,i always get a discount price when i buy Sept to March for new or nearly new bikes.
