2 Corinthians 5:18-19 All this from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
As a long- time Christian, I think it is easy to forget what a miracle salvation is and its impact for us. It's hard to share our faith when salvation has lost its new luster and we get focused on living life, doing good works, ministry, other aspects of our Christian walk like doctrine, theology, blessings, how to live right, etc. About a year ago I decided to revisit the basics of Christianity as I was coming back to my faith after a devastating loss in life. I started with salvation and was blown away by the depth and breadth of the sacrifice, redemption and representation I now have before the Father through Jesus Christ! I keep wanting to move on past salvation in my study, but I can't! I keep getting hit by wave after wave of gratefulness, joy, and freedom in Christ. Romans reminds me that I can do nothing in myself, that I am totally reliant on Jesus!
Cornerstone is awesome. Seems nowadays on social media people are posting that they are binge watching things. Well, I'm going to binge Cornerstone Videos!!!! :D I thought I'd seen them all, but maybe not! Thank you for posting Cornerstone! Bringing glory to God and people to Jesus!
You did a really good job with presenting the devotion Aaron. It seems you don't feel called to full-time ministry, and THAT IS JUST FINE MY BROTHER. But I do believe you'll benefit the church-as a strong pillar-to teach sound doctrine and fefute those who don't. I mean it. You do a really good job presenting things that keeps people wanting to listen. You'll continue be a blessing to the church over the years, God willing. God bless you.
