Although a potion of flight could be a earlier alternative to the elytra for crossing difference, it's really unbalanced to use only a wind charge for level 3 of levitation and slow falling, so a more balanced alternative could be using a breeze rod instead and also adding levitation 1 for 45 seconds and slow falling 2 for 120 seconds, this would help you cross larger distances faster without having to bridge out, but will put you in a bad pvp situation once you come back onto the ground with slow falling still inflicted because it makes you slower. So, a more expensive recipe, more balanced stats and adding a downside if used incorrectly could make it into a balanced useful feature.

Imo the wave rider and the sleigh shouldn't be behind a pay wall the other vehicles where free to use why are these two needed to be bought? Its fucking bullshit
