Welcome to our channel! My grandaughter and I are excited to share with you our little homesteading journey. We have been so inspired by many other homesteading channels we thought we would give it a go. We currently have laying hens, and rabbits and looking to add other animals in the future. I've always wanted a donkey. We will be sharing with you what we have learned thus far and welcome your tips and thoughtful comments. We are hoping to be an encouragement to you to possibly build your own chicken coop, raise some chickens or rabbits, or to be more self sufficient by growing your own food. By the way we love to garden! We will show you what works for us here in zone 7b east TN. from cucumbers to green beans, to watermelons, we grow all that we are able. We are learning each day and hope we can learn from you as well. So come along.
We are two people that love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ with our lives in all that we do. Email : Jadegrace845@gmail.com
Very nice! I have just planted suckers several times straight into the dirt. Sometimes success, sometimes not. Your tomatoes look yummy! 😊 God bless and enjoy the weekend!
Oh my words! I didn’t realize a beaver would do that, and the devastation! 😮 I’m sorry this happened. Gracie’s doing a good job on the mowing. Take care, and God Bless!
I didn't know the beavers would do that either. We have never had a problem before like this. There is always something trying to get to the garden. The good thing is we have had no squirell issues. They usually eat a lot of the corn. That's one reason we grow so much. Appreciate ya sister. Hope you all are well take care
I didn’t know beavers would do that to corn until you brought it to my attention. Glad you are making a dent in them. Looks like you got a jim dandy mower there in Gracie. Have a blessed weekend.
Yep I've learned some things I didn't know about beavers. They are relentless once they have determined what they want. Gracie is a good worker bee. Hope you are well Pastor. Take care
That must be a mammoth sunflower! 🌻😁 What a beautiful sunset! We had a glorious one here tonight, also! God's creation is amazing! I can't wait to see over in the glory land! 🌅 God bless.
Wow, wonderful corn harvest! Not many home gardeners can grow such beautiful, straight rows of corn. Praise the Lord! God bless ya, brother. Have a great weekend.😊🌅🌽
No doubt the Lord blesses us. Undeserving as well. This year's corn crop ought to be a good one, better than normal. Appreciate ya brother Duke. Take care
We only grow that one row for what we need to put up and then we either sell at a$1 a lb or give the others away. I will be replanting a row of cucumbers where they were. Appreciate brother Duke hope all is well.
@@lastdayshomesteading6288 yes I heard you say something about tilling it up but not sure if you said you were planting cucumbers...great idea...blessings
Yes we snap them. We put up one bushel. Sold or gave the rest away. Take care sister. Sorry about taking so long to respond. I got alot going on thats taking up my time.

Wow! That’s a great amount! You’re lucky to have two growing seasons. We have just the one growing season, but our beans are up a couple inches tall now. We always can ours as well. We still have some from last Fall. Take good care and have a blessed day!
We usually have more than we need and is a great opportunity to help some folks out. I froze mine this year after I snapped them. Just not enough time to can right now. We know we have been blessed. The Lord He is good to us. Appreciate ya sister take care
They will be good with some small potatoes and onions. Appreciate ya Pastor. Corn will be in very soon and tomatoes. Our squash cucumbers and zucchini has been coming in a half bushel each day for a little over 2 weeks. Take care.
It's easier from me to do it this way for my lack of time. That way I can put something out in its place after I pull them. Appreciate ya sister take care
Hey brother Bill & Gracie! I hope you’re doing amazing! God is so good, every days a school day! So good to have a wonderful community to learn from… you’ve got amazing results there!! SHOCKING!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🤣🤣🤣🤣 god bless you guys & your garden xx 🙏🌻💝💐🌱
Hey sister good to hear from you. I was amazed at corn results. We should be harvesting in about 5 days. It is shocking lol. Hope you all are doing well down there. Praying for you all. Each day our redemption draws near. Take care
Hahaha 😊 Great video! Your corn looks great! You’ve got an awesome garden. Not offended with your electric fun lol. We have to electrify our garden every year here in Maine. Between the deer, groundhogs, and rabbits they clean us out otherwise. I KNOW our electric fence works ⚡️😳😬🤣 I’ve just got a little “twitch” in my step now 😂
That really is amazing results. Have you ever experimented with peas? I wonder if they would increase nitrogen in the soil and give good results like the clover.
I'm excited about the results with the red clover. It has to be turned in when it is red to get the full benifit. I don't know about the peas other than they supply their own nitrogen. It would probably be worth testing. How bout them Cherokee purple maters? Take care pastor.
I know lol Gracie asked me the next morning about it. I told her I wanted to catch him. Gotta have some fun. Hope you are well take care brother. I got 2 videos to catch up on your channel. Will do probably tomorrow. Been working last couple days and soon as I get home out in the garden.
