They gimped the story mode, they removed the ability to store finishers, they added the horrid "Struggle Submission" mechanic which I could never figure out. So many things wrong with this game. But, it had an amazing soundtrack that kept me coming back.

It's so interesting to me that people in the comments think that bart and lisa's roles are reversed here when i find them both pretty in character tbh. Like, even outside of the plot of the episode that is the reason why Bart makes that comment, it's not unlike him to question something that doesn’t make sense in his eyes, the boy isn't stupid, and Lisa gives him a logical answer, which is very her too. That said, both characters are stereotypes so i guess people imagine that they have only one note to them (aka bart is stupid and lisa is too incredulous for her own good). The show is kinda guilty of writing them that way a little bit too much but still, I think that characterization of them here is on point

(John 3:16-17) Now anyone who accepts Jesus Christ, God’s Son, as their Lord and Savior and believes he rose from the dead the third day will be saved from eternal damnation in Hell and live in Heaven in paradise with him forever. Many will choose to follow Satan, whether it be because they think they won’t succeed otherwise or won’t have any joy or friendships, but he will soon reveal himself as a murderer and a liar as he was since the beginning and he will curse all his followers as he cursed God and all of Satan’s followers will be cased into ever burning Hell. Don’t believe this lie I too believed in! Our God is a loving God full of compassion, yet he is a righteous God with righteous judgment. (Matthew 13:41-42)
This song is so good, I’m both glad it got some exposure through SvR but also sad it really never get anywhere aside from that. Legitimately a great song.
