Cute! I give 10 handmade greeting cards with envelopes to 15 people each Christmas and I’m always looking for inexpensive, cute, sturdy, and easy-to-make and mail gift bags for them. It is a bonus if it is nice enough to be displayed on someones’s desk for a while too. I’ll have to alter the size of the bags and the top flap, but these will be great to make. Thanks!
This is a great idea on many levels! I plan to make a few as I have 3 packages of white lunch bags that I bought ages ago for a project, although I now have no idea what that project was. (!!!) Anyway, this will be perfect for them, and I plan to measure the inside bottom of the bag and add some light chipboard rectangle to make it a little more sturdy. Thanks, Lynn!
Lynn…love this idea - thinking of making some smaller ones as I have smaller bags. Do you have a suggestion on how far I should cut the bag? To get good proportions ? TFS
Great idea, thanks for your easy to follow instructions and the pdf. I’m always looking for different ways to give gift cards or money ( grandkids want to buy their own gifts, lol and that’s ok, I don’t have to go in the busy stores just stay in my quiet craft room and have fun making stuff🙂)
