You have really worked hard on that blush! I wonder how long it will last?🤔 Don't think I have ever finished any blush even though I am getting there with a very old crem blush, I hope (for Christmas or so😅) as I often skip blush and just do the eyes😊
That is an excellent question! I’ve heard that Nars blushes are hard to pan, and it feels like just hitting pan is still a long ways off! I’ll probably come back to it sometime next year for another attempt. Good luck on your blush! :)
You are really making progress with all these projects! You must have a huge bathroom😮 Bathrooms are always quite small in Sweden with too little storage place which does not suite me at all😅 Aren't any ensuites either - on the contrary the bathroom is often in the other end of the house or apartment and often there is only the one bathroom + one extra loo and basin somewhere else, mainly meant for guests, if you are really lucky😀 Weird and often impractical but our plumbing and showers are at least of excellent quality (in the UK those things are SO bad but the bathrooms are very pretty😊). Funny that you said Watermelon scent is ok but not other melon scent - I love watermelon too, both the real thing🍉 and in scent👃🏻 but any other melon cause some sort of reaction, like a bump in my throat as soon as I have eaten it and never liked those scents either👎☺
Thank you! Canadian bathrooms vary a lot. I only keep the products I’m working on in the bathroom and store everything else in the storage room downstairs. (My collection may be most of the storage room along with paper towel, etc). I am sad to hear of your reaction to melon scents. At least you still get to enjoy the watermelon though. :)
That explains a lot😅 I currently occupy 95% of our bathroom cabinet (that is surely the wrong word but I I don't think I have ever heard the correct one🤔 Feel free to correct me!) and I still have more lying around in every little nook and corner of the bathroo🧴🧽 which I suspect is the case for many of us interested in skin and body care😃
Att least I don't get a rection from melon scent and I have stopped eating them years ago. My husband is the same and says as we both have severe pollen allergy, lots of fruit is distantly related to birch (!) and hence we are allergic to all of those as well🤪 Birch is everywhere in Sweden and people love having them in their gardens🤧 Easier to avoid melons😅
Also trying to use up my Summer Melody,do like the scent but the body cream is getting a little "cheesy" so about 2 more uses & gone. Have a 2022 winter SAS product of Pink Lily & Bamboo which I absolutely adore it's not overwhelming but just light & fresh.Have travel sets of Wild Sand & Tropidelic planning on using. Oh and my Coco Paradise, just got the coconut oil from VS & it pairs so well together. Am one of those who buy the whole sets - wash/cream or lotion/mist and a scrub if they have it. Creams seem to turn faster so really concentrating on using those sets first. Greetings from a nice summer day in NYC.
Sounds like your own project is off to a great start! I love when I am using the same scent as someone else. Coco Paradise is also on my list to use soon. I hope you continue having nice summer weather to pair these wonderful summer scents with! :)
I watch all of your videos albeit not always so quickly bit it will be nice that you space them out a little as long as it works for you😊 Doing well with your polishes as always👍🙂 I used a new one for my toe nails the other day but it looks very patchy and bad😢 Have to take it off tomorrow. This must be the punishment for buying a completely unknown brand and on sale, too👎😉 There's such difference between brands! I've got some favourites and ought to stick to them but it's difficult when you see a pretty shade💅.
I really appreciate your support and sweet comments! :) I have also done that exact same thing too with nail polishes. My collection is so large that I really should stop doing that since I likely already have a similar color to whatever is tempting me, but those sales sometimes are too tempting! Would the bad polish layer alright with a better one so it’s not a complete waste?
Thanks for your feedback! My goal was better video spacing for you guys so there’s updates more consistently throughout the month rather than having lots of updates towards the end and fewer at the beginning of the next month. Glad to hear you like the idea! :)
I started a project polish in January, and, for the most part it’s been going really well. I pick five polishes that I refresh every four months. The only exception will be December, which will be all holiday!! I’ve got a lot of China Glaze minis to work through! All my polishes are in to finish.
@@AceKitty-di9yrThat sounds fun! It is nice to have the option to switch colors out, especially if you are seasonal with your colors. I wish you lots of luck! :)
We've just had too hot here too. Just when we thought it was over the humidity sky rocketed so it's gone even worse😟 I stay indoors as much as I can as my body and brain🤪😅 really can't take sweltering heat. Because of severely dry skin, excema and very weak muscles because of ME I can only shower once a week or two at most if my other symptoms are mild (but they often increase in this kind of weather - provokes the chronic inflammation)👎🤥 so mustn't get too sweaty😄 Our dog is getting older and does not like or stand the heat so well any longer either, such a difference for both of us compared to younger days! I sit outside in the shade a lot and my husband takes his long dog walks in the woods morning and evening when it's cooler. How are your dogs with this weather?
We were the same way with the humidity. Both of my dogs are more of winter dogs, so they like to be outside but are very tired after walks. They bounce back, but sometimes we shorten the walks with the heat. Hopefully we both get cooler (but nice summer weather) soon!
@@readysetpan 👍😊 So hard not to melt away now😰☺ We previously had two Howavarts, one att a time, who with their thick fur also felt better in winter - even if they craved long activity filled walks all year including in the heat☀️😉 We should carry around fans🌬 if possible! Let's hope for nicer weather☺
Ours' loved the sun until 2 years ago when he got an infection from a tick biting him. After that he grew more tired, you could tell he was nauseous but felt better outdoors in the fresh air so I brought his kibbles outside even in -20C🥶😀 He is getting old but loves his daily off-the-leash walks in the woods just like our Hovawart girls did☺ We live in a tiny village nowadays wirh lots of woods very close. Those ticks are now everywhere here except in the north. Deer and wild boar keep spreading them. I grew up in Stockholm where there are loads of ticks if you are close to the sea. Many carry TBE and other nasty viruses. We use strong drops against the ticks but some always manage to bite him no matter how hard you check and brush (our boy has black, long fur so they are not easy to see🧐), also they seem to love his blood, just as they love mine and my husband's👎😏 We have both have infections caused by them, Lime's disease and Rickettsia which took months to recover from. We are both taking the TBE-shots/boosters, wish they came for dogs too. Is ticks and their diseases a problem in Canada? I think getting worse here because of the climate change. The winters up north are getting warmer (Not here though, unfortunately) so the deer and boar are travelling north with their passengers👎
Well, not all of them🧐😄 This year I have decided to stop rotating blusher, lipstick, gloss eyeliners as I have to use up the ones with age symtoms or those that soon will develop some😊
Very true😄 As for boxes we only have Lookfantastic here and they never send any samples, freebies, no special edition for us and hardly any makeup - think 3 makeup items in a year where one was a lipstick in a brand and shade I already hade bought myself🤣 It's a bit of a hit and miss with all these boxes but still fun☺
I agree that the choices weren’t great! Mine were pretty much the same as yours, and I chose as soon as it opened. I feel like I got ripped off for the $15 beauty boost. Nothing interesting to choose from so I picked a high dollar eye cream. The add ons I purchased were great, but I can’t continue to justify spending the amount that I do for a box that has little value to me. I find myself gifting most of it to family and friends.
Do you believe me when I say that I use cotton buds for digging out the last of lip balms and use it for my nails instead of oil🙄😅 I buy a lot so spend a lot mainly on skin care💸 and get these fits of trying to get out everything of a product🤑☺
I think you have mentioned it before, so I do believe you! Some of the packaging decisions that people make are very interesting. They want us to go through extra challenge to use everything up!
It can be difficult to get everything out from when you can't unscrew the top which I don't think is a coincidence as there is often lots left. I cut everything open, if possible unless the product is revolting😊
@@Rosy12I’m glad to hear that you take that extra step! I’m good at doing it with my body moisturizers, but I could be better with other product types!
Congrats on finishing all of these products🎉 Fantastic with all these eyeshadows gone, such good work👏🏻 I think that purple eyeliner is really becoming😍
Nice progress👏🏻 That palette is absolutely stunning💙😍 I have just counted my liquid eyeshadows and eyeshadow sticks and regret buying so many as they are supposed to be used up within 6 months😳 I would need ten pair of eyes👁👁 to achieve that😅 You are very summer pretty in that top and necklace☺
I really appreciate the compliment! I find sometimes (and it depends on the eyeshadows) you may have to touch up since the color fades or creases. That sneaks some extra uses on getting products finished! :)
@@readysetpan You are welcome - and you are of course always pretty ☺ Ah, yes, you are right! I must start touching up when it fades due to my deep set eyes + nowadays slightly sagging eyelids whick make a mess of many an eye eyeshadow👎I can be lazy with that! Just need to not instantly put it away in the morning😊
Lots of progress here👏🏻☺ I put on lipstick or lip gloss before going out in our garden🙂 so completely relate to what you said about always putting on some before dog walks and so on☺
Hi! Great haul! There are Bodycology products here in Canada. I found Bodycology at my local Walmarts in Guelph, Ontario. I noticed eventually the products do make it up here in Canada. I rarely shop in the U.S. due to the exchange rate. I've also picked up Target brands at a Marshalls at our local mall for fraction of the U.S. prices. I found Fine'ry perfumes etc. I was pretty lucky when I found them. I guess you would have to be there at the right moment to find them. They sell out quickly though.
That’s exciting to hear! I’m in Saskatchewan, so I feel it takes even longer for us to get stuff. We just started getting a few Tree Hut scrubs. Hopefully we get more goodies through Marshalls! :)
Oh gosh, I'm in Middle America, and there's no way I would drive 8 hours to go shopping. I've found that Target is much more affordable if you have their discount app.
The shopping driving was two hours (one hour to the border and another hour to Grand Forks). The eight hours was getting from home to family in Manitoba. Otherwise eight hours is much too long for a shopping trip! Also good to know about the app!
I find cream eyeshadows tricky...they just slide off🤥 but at least it is fairly easy to get some progress when using then👍☺ You are getting on well with your Mary Kay one👏🏻😊 Oh, those lip masks! I have one from BareMinerals that expired in Jan but is still ok. Have used it forever and I think there is 50% left🤔😁
They can be tricky sometimes! I’m making progress with the Mary Kay one since I’m using it as an eyeshadow base. Otherwise they take me quite awhile! Lip masks are some of the longest things for me! A mini sample can last me months! You’ll get through it eventually! :)
@@readysetpan I have too many shadow sticks or liquid ones compared to how seldom I use them😉 Getting nervous they will go off as I of course have been stupid to open them and try them🙄😄 Will have to focus on them, I realise, rather than the pressed ones☺ I never get anywhere with lip scrubs or lip masks...keep forgetting them. Have several really good lip balms I just as well use at night and as my lips are mostly chapped in autumn and winter, I don't really need a lip scrub in spring or summer. Must stop buying them😅
@@Rosy12I try to not open any cream or liquid eyeshadows until I am going to use them and then I try to finish them once opened. They do take quite awhile though! I keep my lip mask in my nightstand and use it every night. A use a day will slowly add up! :)
I'm sorry to hear you too are prone to headaches and migraines! They are so tiring for body and mind alike. So important picking the right kind of scent so as not to get another attack so to speak. Are there any special scents that will trigger them? To me lemon and lemon verbena are two triggers.
Cigarette smoke is a big one for me. In terms of actual nice scents it tends to be more of a scent overload rather than specific scents. I am sad to hear that you have specific scent triggers.
@@readysetpan Ah, yes, cigarette and cigarr smoke are terrible triggers! Don't know how I could forget them. I wish for a completely smoke free environmen! We always happen to live next to smokers and it sucks if you happen to go out when they are smoking🤢 I think really strong perfumes are difficult as well or strongly scented laundry detergent/fabric conditioner. At least it is easy for me to avoid lemon and so on😊 but so difficult to avoid those other triggers🥭
I am wondering too whom that Alchemist brand is for?🤔 Only tried it once and that was enough just like The Inkey List only there it happened to be two bad products😅
It's that unfortunate Niacinamide serum fr The I L that you didn't like either. Strange product🧐🤔 And from the other brand I can't remember any longer, was a couple of years ago but did not like the product.
That was a huge concealer🧐impressed that you finished it! That cleansing balm though 😅 so nice we both finally finished it🎉🎉🎉 saw that I had the 150 ml one - no wonder it lasted forever! Congrats on finishing all of these products👏🏻☺
I use a lot of body moisturizer at a time, so that definitely helps! Usually it’s just sheer willpower at first (every use I do now is a use I don’t have to do later). I also use it in a routine with a product I really enjoy (like a shower gel or scrub to balance it out). If I’m struggling with it, then I use it on my legs since the smell of further away. I do tend to rotate scents with a small set, and I’ll usually try to use a less liked one every second application. The biggest thing for me is not to give myself a break because then I won’t pick it back up again. I hope these tips help! :)
It is always nice to empty the bag and get everything into the year-long box. Although now I’m getting into a second box. That’s an end of the year problem for when I do my total yearly empties! :)
@@readysetpan Aay, yes, those sticky empties that my husband keeps finding behind furniture or doors😄 I chuck mine away once a month but you will have so much more🧴🧴😁 It is very rewarding in some weird way to look at them and finally take them to the recycling station😉😊 Might I ask where you keep yours?
Thank you☺ Yes, there are so many good skin products out there and I have many good ones. I do tend to tire quickly of those that are just ok - I like trying new ones so naturally not everything can be good😊
I think that’s a great philosophy to have. Not only can everything not be good but not everything can be good for your needs and preferences. Sure there are probably some just bad products out there, but otherwise most items will be good for someone else! :)
You are doing well☺ Just have to tell you I FINALLY finished that awful cleansing balm from The Inkey List! Good riddance😂 I have soon finished their Niacinamide serum too, use it on top of my hands as my facial skin broke out of it - got small, itchy red spots from it - and I won't be buying anything more from that unfortunate brand😬😁
Congrats! That is so exciting not only to have an empty but to have that thing out of your collection! I am sad to hear that the serum didn’t work for you, so off to other brands for things you actually enjoy! :)
That is such great progress with the highlighter and all👏🏻☺ You will have to thank the dogs for helping out😅 Also good to try to work through any very old scented products while not working. I have a superold perfume that just sits there...about once a month I use it and think it's nice, the rest of the days I find it too strong so I'm not really getting anywhere😢🤥😄
Hurray for dog fur! I am finding I’m still struggling with the perfumed lotion. The scent is still coming through, so I’ll just have to find the right fragrance pairing to finish it off. You’ll get there with your perfume one day! :)
@@readysetpan Yay🐕👍😄 Could you mix the lotion with a completely unscented one to make it less strong? Or just use it for your legs or even just as a foot cream? It is difficult when a scent is too overbearing! When something gives me a head ache, that's when I give up and it goes straight into the bin🗑☺
Finally finished up the Among the Clouds collection including the scrub, also Gingham. Will be finishing up Midnight Amber Glow today - yes I know it's more cooler weather scent but since it has vanilla in it & beginning to yellow want to get it out of my collection. Going on vacation next week to a farm resort in Pennsylvania,so packed Summer Melody, almost done, and my travel set of Coco Paradise.
That’s exciting progress! I totally understand wanting to be careful with the yellowing products. I need to use my own Coco Paradise too. Great work! :)
I am so curious about the body scrubs from The Tree Hut and I can actually get some of them here🎉😅 just have to use one or two other ones because of lack of space😄 Those poppy products are SO pretty👍☺
@@readysetpan Well, there is a Swedish brand called Estelle & Thild (what kind of cumbersome name is that???) and one of their scents is Vanilla Tangerine! That scrub - and body butter - is SO good and smells heavenly😍 I will soon open NCLA's candy cane scrub which will be my summer scrub☺ Very hot here now so that will feel a little cooling, I hope (even though it is probably meant as a Christmas scent). The Tree Hut has so many interesting ones but I have never tried them so far but they are on my mental wishlist, so to speak👍😅
@@Rosy12 Vanilla Tangerine does sound amazing! I know lots of people enjoy using candy cane/peppermint in the summer for the cooling sensation. I completely agree with you about Tree Hut scrubs; so many on the mental wish list! :)
