make shiso salt, dry the leaves and when totally crisp, blend in a food processor until powdery and add Kosher or Sea salt...mix that up and put into an air tight container - keeps for a year. It's yummy on rice, over eggs, over asian noodles or fish.
Thank you for the video. I agree. I am going to make a trip to Dollar General today! By the way, Sam's Club has their whiskey barrel planters on clearance in-store--$9. I bought 10 of them 💚. I live in Georgia, south of Atlanta.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. I love this time of the year, not only is it cooling down but you can get alot of great deals for the garden. Good luck to you and thank you so much for watching!
I can’t say why I’m not growing because I am, but I can say that caring for the garden isn’t just messing with plants. It’s a gift to your future self.
Our neighbor does container gardening on her patio. I never cease to be amazed at how well her garden does. She only grows about three things in her containers, but between the tomatoes, the greens, and the spring/fall peas, her garden produces a wealth of food that rivals many growers who use larger spaces.
Yes! I am so glad you shared this because many people believe you MUST have alot of space and you don't. Thank you so much for sharing and for watching!
Hey!!! Yankeesista I hope you and your family are doing well. It is so amazing watching plants grow. I always say we can learn so much from nature. Thank you as always for your support and I hope you have an amazing week!
Keep up with all your tips .. we are still watching and learning .. I’m growing fall veggies now so Thank you for keeping us motivated ..#Neverstopgrowing
It's an addiction lol. My best friend said the same thing "just get one plant" and now I have gardens all over the place. And my precious babies have names too 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love it. Plussssss finding cool stuff on the side of the road or great deals at Walmart. Thanks for sharing! I'm so grateful you showed up on my shorts!
LOL yes it is but a good one. I totally agree you can always find some great deals when you shop around and I am so glad that you found me through shorts too! Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you so much and thank you for all of the support. By the way did you know The Family Garden Center had closed permanently? I was going to go there and looked it up in Google and it said they were permanently close. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Ha. That's love right there. She don't even like jalepeños, but still grows them to provide for family and friends. I wish I was your nephew. PS. The sauce is plenty for us pepper lovers, but curious how the cowboy candy turns out.
I definitely want family and friends to experience the greatness of garden grown. Yes I definitely want to make the cowboy candy. Thanks so much for watching!
I have , spearmint, lemon grass, holy basil , and lemon balm for my morning tea. I eat several leaves of holy basil and lemon balm as I am gathering. After 15 minutes, I put a tsp of raw mountain honey. It’s awesome!! Lemon Balm is like a herbal Ozempic for weight loss. This tea is a replacement for coffee. I am 1000 percent satisfied with this!!!
I love the way your beds came out. Was that a kit, or did you and hubby build them? I can't remember. They're so much prettier than the metal ones, in my opinion. 😊
Hello Auyanna, Lovely updates! I love that water feature. Will you share where you got it? Also, did I hear correctly, did you say you take cuttings from coleus plants? I started mine from seeds, and would like to try that. I have the torenia in purple. Tried it for the first time this season.
Hello! I got the water fountain from Costco and yes I do take cuttings of the coleus plants and overwinter them inside. Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you for this video because I want to use up the portion I bought. In other videos I saw lemonade using a ships infused syrup. And I saw shiso ginger honey tea. I’m going to also try summer rolls!
Thank you so much for all of your support. Don't feel guilty at all. It's life and we do what we can when we're able to do it. I hope you have an amazing week!
