We're just your two regular guys who fell in love with the open road after going on a three month long road trip circling the continental US. We did it in a cramped 2003 Pontiac Aztek, equipped with a mattress and a cargo box on the roof and two bicycles on the hitch; That was back in 2010, and we've been craving the freedom of the open road ever since then. Reminiscing on the intoxicating effects of going wherever we want, whenever we want, we decided that its time to try this again. The idea of buying a van and converting it into a low-key camper first took root when we bumped into RU-vid videos about van conversions and the "van life" lifestyle. After watching countless hours of RU-vidrs creating wonders inside their vans and having the time of their lives, we decided to take the plunge. So here we are, just getting started on our project, and hoping to document the progress and learn as much as possible as we go along.
hi please i need help i whant to make the same sistem but with this camera double camera please search on alii espres this words and you will find .....Car Door Side View Blind Spot Camera HD Night Vision IP68 Waterproof for Truck RV Van Trailer Emergency
Add a hidden camera under side mirror to blind spot side mirror light indicator power wire. it turns on the camera on that side of which ever side a vehicle is approaching from the rear and shows up on the 4-quad screen only or by pass with all 4 going and or powers on when detection is detected and front and rear can be with constant on and off power switch straight to battery for continuous recording and or monitoring.
Broke my mirror, some years Simply tilt out a little then slide upwards like mine! NOT simply pull away. Thanks for not mentioning that. Be careful everyone, check removal instructions for your specific year!
As of 5/14/2023 - I have a 4ch but for right now I'm doing a 3ch - back - and both sides for now. All cameras are hidden, just a normal looking car driving by.
*Solid, **Fastly.Cool** and gets the job done. For rooms where window-mounted air conditioning is not an option, this works very well. Easy set up, rapid cooling, and great design.*
Hi, i have a question for you. I bought the same reversing camera and the LED module that was on the oryginal does not fit. Mercedes sprinter w 906 2011. Did you have any problems because in the movie I saw that you also did not like something. Please help.
Hi, i am writing from El Salvador and i am curious on how was this unit installed electrically speaking,,, did you connect to truck batteries, or added seperate batteries? did you use invertors? hwo many watts? how did you feed the electricity of this unit,? any comments are welcome
Great video! Taking off the side mirrors you can actually pull it off by positioning the top as forward as possible and pulling it up straight out of a bracket.
Hello there, I have owned a 2016 Sprinter 3500 base Jayco class C motorhome. Tried installed side view cameras and everything went fine, except turn signal wires shown on the video. Found a wire bundle in the behind the left side A pillar trim that has 4 wires as directed, but parking light signal was working and none of the other wires coming out live signal. Anyone have a idea? I found reverse signal wire at the radio compartment, and still needed turn signal wires. Thanks in advance and stay safe.
appreciate the review. So does this keep the food cold consistently? there are some video's out there saying these don't keep the food cold enough... and how do you find the power consumption? Also, can you provide me exact dimensions of the freezer compartment. Thank yoU!
thanks for sharing, so if I understand correctly, there is a fan in this so it can be used solely for air circulation vs. air conditioning? So there wouldn't really be a need for an extra roof fan then.... also, how loud do these run in air conditioning mode?
Thank you for this video, helped me with my installation in my Promaster, now I just need to get everything wired up. Now that you’ve had it for a while do you have any observations you can share? Have you had any issues with it, leaks, condensation issues etc? How are you enjoying it? Also I’d like to add to anyone trying this to be careful not to over-torque those three bolts, I ended up cracking the metal frame of the air distribution box using a torque wrench to try to get to 40-50 ft-lbs as recommended:(
Great video :) I went out and purchased everything on your list, install was a bit tricky but everything works, left&right cameras work perfect, backup camera etc. No the issue i'm having is once you start the car, and shift to reverse before going to drive, the screen blanks out (front cam view) But i don't have a front cam. Now i've seen others posting about this issue but front camera screen only stays on for 10 to 15seconds before going back to stereo screen, for me it is permanently stuck on front camera and does not default back until shift back into reverse/park. Plz help <3
Thanks for sharing this video, we are all very thankful that you took the time to share your hard work, all while making a video to help us all. Not an easy task. Quick question, why did you decide to mount the AC in the back?
