I am surprised to find this on youtube. My racing partner and I flew Goodyear racing planes for many years. I think my first race was in about 1968 in Toronto Canada. After some years away from modelling I got back into flying Goodyear in about 1977 and flew it for about 10 years. I still have my racers in a box as I can't bear to throw them away. One of them still holds the Canadian record heat time. My partner and I also flew F2C and flew in the WC's in 1984. Many fond memories and the sound of the models in this video is music to my ears. Thanks
I know the names: my dad flew control line in Guatemala. I did too but only 0.49. My dad favorite was the Nobler. I remember the Dolphin, Stiletto, Banshee and Fly Streak.
This gentleman really has command of his craft. The electrics are obviously very capable but lacking something over the glow engines. Call it nostalgia.
Excellent. I have never flown a U/C elect. My R/C electric has a constant current ESC which means constant torque. The Fox .35 varies naturally from lean to rich mixtures in flight during maneuvers, I have learned to anticipate that and use it as an advantage. Do you get some effects on your set up?
Oui l'ancienne formule good .year qui avait débuté en France DANS LES ANNÉES 75 /80 sans jamais réussir à être trouvé VRAIMENT intéressante par les gros patrons du team français qui manifestement préféraient rester les stars des pistes F2C....et ne pas aider les jeunes à débuter en good Merci général de reserve Delors.....
