It is almost impossible to explain how grey the 70s were until Bowie and Roxy came along. Followed closely by the punk revolution, which for a short while brought a burst of colour and heroics that lit up the world.
The highlight of this performance is John Wetton constantly laughing all throughout this song, you could really see he's just having a real blast with all of the guys in Roxy Music. The 70s was so much fun and it really shows here
Roxy were on what they called a Scandinavian Tour in Jan./Feb. 1976, which also brought them to Oslo, Norway. I still have the leaflet programme! After having seen them I immediately had to go out and buy the four albums I didn't have, which were probably nos. 2-5.
@@makwabid69 people might compare the TOTP performance with this Musikladen one, in which John Wetton seems to end up trolling Ferry :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZkWAG82aGbE.html
