As an avid Xbox 360 gamer, here's my advice for purchasing the most reliable model: Avoid every model from 2005 to 2007 at all costs (Xenon, Zephyr, Early Falcon, Opus). These things are notorious for high red ring of death rates and if these haven't red ringed yet, it's only a matter of time when they do. Proceed with caution on Falcon models from 2008. These are generally more reliable than the earliest iterations of the 360s but as time passes by, I'm seeing more of these break down from hardware related failures. When shopping for original models, hunt down the Jasper models manufactured from 2009 to 2010. These have the lowest power draw of all original models and rarely break down from GPU related issues. When shopping for S models, hunt down the trinity models from 2010 to July 2011. Later S models from August 2011 to 2013 use the less reliable corona motherboard that contains the unreliable 4GB NAND Flash Chip (most common fail point of S models). Be cautious about picking up the E models. These things may be less red ring prone than the earliest models but these things are quite susceptible to GPU related issues due to cheap build quality since Microsoft's only rationale behind this redesign was to design an even cheaper console so they can rack up last ditch profits before the end of the 360's lifespan.
RE racoon city did not sell well because it was notoriously off course of what people liked in RE. I dont know if that would rise in price, not meaningfully imo.
Yes its really that bad because for what they are charging they didnt upgrade the Cpu at all. They are trying to get away charging an extra 200 bucks for another 100 dollars worth of power that wont even make most games run better.
The Issue is rather, if successful, the Ps6 will definitely start at the very least at 700-800bucks. I think the ps4pro with 399 was there testing ground. They have been upping the price ever since.
What's inside the box is really good, but what's outside isn't. A £700 entry point is expensive, but the console package doesn't feel premium enough to properly justify it. It's not the specs that are bad, because on the flipside, it's a really impressive machine at that price point and the performance jump is really quite insane, these are seriously beefy specs for a console, far ahead of the capabilities of any other current gen machine by a landslide. You aren't going to need to upgrade to a PS6 right away at launch because frame generation will give this machine quite a bit of longevity later down the line. From a presentation perspective however, what am I even being sold? A PS5 stand sold separately or a PS5 Pro? This is a premium tier, flagship console being treated like a cheap RyanAir flight. It should have included a stand, it should have included the new Astrobot game instead of Astro's playroom, no disk tray? So people have to buy from scalpers and only a regular PS5 controller to boast for it, instead of something more impressive like the Dualsense Edge? The value proposition is bad because it's not selling the premium experience, it's selling only a fragment of it at a £700 starting point. It's a first class ticket with all the caveats of economy.
Not bad people don't understand that it has a 2tb hard drive that's close to $200 so it makes sense. I'm gonna get one on pre order day can't wait! Digital games have sales that's cool. If I want physical at a later time can add that
I can't remember exactly but it would not surprise me! I know they advertised the base one as 8k ready and then removed that claim part way through distribution!
The base PS5 can do simple ray tracing at 30fps, but it's not really the same. PS5 Pro is using a more advanced method called double intersection, which is going to be used in AMD's upcoming RDNA4 GPUs that hit the market next year. Minecraft is releasing a native PS5 version very soon with upgraded features such as implementation of Ray Tracing and the Pro can utilize these things at 60fps without having to scale down to native 1080p, thanks to PSSR you can get really detailed 4K-like imagery, almost as good as DLSS. Very cool technology and gran Turismo probably wasn't the most enticing way to showcase this.
I think Deadpool was a surprise. I bought it for $12 at gamestop 5 months ago and now it's $40 to $100+ depending on where you buy and condition. I traded it for $20 when it started heating up and put the credit towards a new looking copy of Wet. Then it's absolutely exploded but luckily I found a copy of Deadpool like new CIB for $20 on marketplace yesterday. Guess it was meant to be. I just collect what I want to play and that keeps me out of fomo fever.
Enjoying going through your videos dude. I've not shopped in CEX before but been buying some bundles where there may be some profit and might get some voucher credit built up but curious if CEX let you see the multiple copies they have in stock or you just get the first copy that's on display and have to go through returns at a later time if it's not good enough or can you check manual and disc condition and swap things about there? I suppose this will be a store by store experience thing also but curious what yours is like
Honestly I have thoroughly played through rdr1 and 2 and I have to say the world and story of 2 just blows 1 out of the water although I think 1 story line is up there with lotr and other amazing stories
All these videos go out saying buy these game now due to a price hike lol inflicting fomo in gamers. Of course the prices are going up if youre all brain washing people clearing up all the stock.
I have a broken controller. Maybe it is just the battery pack. Edit: It was the pack. I put in the one from the working controller. It seems to work. Thanks for the vid, it was even useful to me, who had owned a 360 since 2015-ish.
They only go up in price because of videos like this ,The xbox store will only affect digital games so i don't understand why physical copies go up in price when 90% of them are cheaper than digital form. When ebay seller's see these videos they put the prices up and CEX do the same .we as game collectors are making it difficult for ourselves
gta 4 the one you want is the complete edition its £20 now cex. afro samurai is one too i got it for peanuts now its £22 , silent hill home coming paid £6 now its £25.
Rage is big, I think it has 2 discs. Weapon mounted car and fps. I really enjoyed it, actually better than red dead but I didn't play much of red dead because of too much horse riding from one side of the map to the other. I didn't realise you could set fast travel camp sites. I will play RD 2 sometime as I hear it is good. Cheers
Nice collection there pal, please stop calling games in metal cases steelbooks, it's a metal case, you wouldn't call your regular games in a plastic book would you? 😂
Owwww my god, the Olympic games titles are always a must for every collection, so much fun with friends around. Likewise with F1 Race Stars, a quality title to play multi or single-player. Great stuff as always mate 🙂
Loving the new controller mate, so good to grab a bargain nowadays out and about in the wild. The Pick of Truth is a pretty good title bud in all honesty, the games room is looking proper sharp but great work 🙂
@@uncasualgameruk and for xbox one also but in the combo case 360/one version...same with gta 4 and episodes and i think a few other rockstar games with cod games got the same treatment.
Nice update mate, it's such a bugger to replace all the shelves, was there myself around 5 years ago and it's surprising the upheaval it causes lol! Great episode as always fella 🙂
