Have you noticed any difference in knot strength between palomar and that other knot for drop shot? I've used both and feel like I break off at the hook more with that other one. Wondering if maybe it's due to the brand of Fluro I use.
Great question. I find I break off more at the hook with the palomar. Not sure why that is. I mess with all kinds of fluoro. I think it’s due to the strain the palomar puts on the line or “kinks” the fluoro at the hook the.
@@Full_Fishing_Guide_Service Thanks for answering. I like the way the hook is positioned on the line with that other knot, always straight and swings more freely. No need to run the tag end back threw the hook.

I through the swim jig from time to time. I just haven't had success as of yet and it keeps me from going back. Maybe after watching your video I give it another shot. Thanks for the info. New Sub
Great informative video, so helpful. I’m trying to catch my first swim jig fish. I’m throwing an 1/8 oz one with a 3” grub trailer. Going small because all the bass in my home lake are 12”. One of your t-rig videos in early spring really got me able to catch more bass than ever this year. This channel is underrated for sure. Thanks again
I use the the Megabass XBites. Its a good rod but the tip is to light to set a hook sometimes. Ill pick one of these up and try it. Thanks for the info. Im a jig nut and the rod is so critical.
