We are a couple months into ownership and overall it is very enjoyable. Pros : the depth is great sitting on the benches puts the water height at my shoulders and I'm 6' tall. Also it is whisper quiet which is nice because I am very sensitive to loud noises. Seriously the water trickling from my birdbath is louder so it's very relaxing. Cons : keeping up with the chemicals is impossible. I think it's because the sanitizer reacts with the cedar benches. I have to add granulated chlorine daily or the water turns brown quickly. I know it's tannins and harmless but I like clear water. Also I feel the stairs could have been better. I'll definitely be building my own set or heavily modifying this set next year
Reminds me of Temptation's Wings by Down, absolutely love it. Also, brother your relationship with your daughter is so adorable. I'm only nineteen myself, but I hope to have a daughter too someday. Kids are the best
It is a silhouette cameo 4 pro, it's mainly used for cutting craft vinyl like a supersized Cricut, but it also has an adapter for markers to work like a large format plotter.
This is such a great build and I’m gathering the stuff to do it now. However, I can’t figure out what the white grid thing is that hold the rocks up with. Thanks!
This is wonderful and straightforward, turned out beautifully! May I ask what the fabric is called that you used beneath the rocks? Thanks for sharing, new subscriber, looking forward to seeing more of what you get up to!
www.homedepot.ca/en/home/categories/outdoors/lawn-and-garden-centre/landscaping/landscaping-fabric.html It's a hardscaping fabric, I like it because it blends in and disappears behind the rocks.
@@borisbuilds The one I built a few years ago, I used a clear plastic flower pot saucer (from under the pot) and filled with a few stones for birds to stand on. Since the saucer is 1" deep, it holds enough water for the birds to bathe. They love it and splash water everywhere, lol. Its basically the big flower pot, with upside-down bucket inside to cover the pump, and the saucer on top of the bucket. The saucer is almost as wide as the big pot, but there is a 1-inch gap all around for the water to spill over the saucer back into the big pot.
Thank you for this video. As some one with little to no budget to use towards shop projects the thought of wasting plywood haunts me. One thing i have a never ending supply of is card board and duct tape. You are an ispiratio
That would work for the initial fill, but I've been getting a couple days out of the water using some oxysparkle and a sock filter. And the heater is nice because I don't need to keep it warm I can just warm it up as I need it.
I think that was originally a fishing tackle box. The slots in the trays were for dividers to keep hooks, etc from tangling. Great video, nice restoration.
Bonjour Boris.
About to acquire my first miter saw, a used Delta 36-220 type 3 and am just delving into the woodworking world so don’t know much about what I need or what to check (want to get started with a low level investment before I get the expensive stuff that I don’t need yet lol) and this was extremely helpful and reassuring. Thanks for this video! Subscribed :)
I've got my eye on a table saw next! Also wondering, there was a double bevel miter saw that became available, would that be a smarter choice to acquire, or is a single bevel still able to accomplish what I need? I know this will depend on the project, but do you ever find yourself ''missing'' the double bevel feature if you don't have it? Thanks for the info again! :) @@borisbuilds
Dont cycle. Put that blue stuff in to camcel out the chlorine, wait about a day and put fish in. Your making it WAAY to complicated! And putting those nice backgrounds always gives a beautiful feel to any fish tank
Right! Hahaha a see through tank is so dull... people are visual. They go crazy for colour... make it interesting, and ill defenitly keep watching your channel!
@@borisbuilds Hz pick ups suck compared to active pick ups I know that because I've had Hz pick-ups before get the right pick ups you'll see what I mean.
