I have an interest in filmmaking, and I need a place to put my videos, so here you go. I mostly just post short films at an extremely unpredictable rate with some other types of content sprinkled in. Subscribe if that's your jam and if you like what you've seen so far.
So for this, I modified the legs to be attached to the small black technic pins, that way they moved smoothly. I originally had a support covered in green cloth to keep the walker stable, but I eventually took it out and animated it free-standing for more convincing motion and no bad green screen. It’s a little risky, but I’d say it paid off. Hope this helps!
I saw this originally and thought it was gonna be the actual Battle of Hoth from Episode V but in lego. Then you whipped out the uplink station card and Im like "Battlefront 1 Walker Assault is the jam dude"
If you want to know any of the behind the scenes tricks I used for filming, check out my behind the scenes video I posted on my channel! Thanks for watching!
Hey trey! Awesome video. Just wanted to say that I remember that stop motion you made for the pearl. It was really awesome. Shame it's lost :/. Oh well. Keep up the good work and congrats on a thousand subs!- Michael from MMS
I get that this was heavily inspired by Star Wars Battlefront, but I may point out that the AT-STs on Hoth were much different to the endor variants. Tiny detail that changes a lot.
The Empire Strikes Back is my favourite of the original trilogy and Empire Strikes Back made me a Star Wars fan. I thought Revenge of the Sith was the Empire Strikes Back of the prequel trilogy. The Battle of Hoth Stop Motion fan film is a good little tribute to Empire Strikes Back.
