Neil had a rough childhood off camera and never got on his feet as an adult either. And he was such a natural actor, especially in the Jr High series. It's rare that child actors really understand their characters so well but he totally nailed his role. RIP Neil!!
Degrassi High was all my childhood and pre-teen years, I never missed a show, it was even broadcast in French! Strangely, voices weren't similar. I recall Wheels and learnt of his passing not so long ago. Sad story TBF. What's become of the actual high school? Degrassi high
I just found out he died. I was watching Degrassi and wondering what happened to some of my favorites. Neil seemed like a super likeable guy. Handsome too. ❤
Yeah nobody one knows, everyone walks around pretty to give a shit about mental health but when it comes down to it, it is dog eat dog. Poor guys contacts didnt give 2fucks.
I remember hearing this on the radio in the early 1990’s. There was a store where we lived in Brampton, at Bramalea City Centre where my family went all the time, and we bought a lot of their stuff! It closed while we were still living there, before we moved away in 1993, but I don’t remember exactly when.
Best memories of that mall are from the 90s early 2000s. When they renovated everything getting rid of the food courts is when it started going down hill around 2005 or so.
It was the best newscast in Ottawa but now with ctv restructuring from there Montreal headquarters put cost before quality got rid of Carl Anne for cheaper wages and now loosing other quality reporters for profit no wonder news can’t be trusted anymore controled now by corporate greed!
Neil must have really had some lousy paying jobs if he referred to acting as the “good money.” From what I have heard, actors don’t exactly get wealthy from Canadian television.
I think this version might just have a slight edge over the 2013 remaster. The guitars have a vintage Boston tone, and it has a bit more of an edge to it, just the right amount of "grit"
There was something special about going to the mall and finding good things to bring home. It felt a lot more special and personal when you find something you want, but in today's world, you can find pretty much anything by going online and it doesn't have that "special" feeling attached to it like it did when you found it in the mall sitting on the shelf.
