I'm a Taylor's fan since 2017 and yes, I agree with you some variants are so unnecessary. TTPD situation was the worst. The only thing I could think of is maybe she needed some extra money because she toured for almost two years. I can imagine how expensive The Eras Tour is but I'm not justifying her team's actions. Even now I see notifications about "new Taylor Swift release" and it's a freaking remix no one wanted. I only listen to her deluxe albums and that's it. She simply focused and moved it Even using it again to kill a vampire no spell chanted and used it again to move a vending machine with focus but wasn't strong enough at the time until Tara help her .

This was such a fun one! I'll be honest, a lot of the villains are pretty eh but there were also some pretty cool ones as well. I don't disagree with your list at all, many of these choices were great villains. Barbas is freaking riot, I agree that the actor always looked like he was enjoying himself and it was fun to watch and even when Charmed went downhill after season 3/4, whenever he would show up in the later episodes, it was pretty entertaining since again, he looked like he was having fun which made the episodes more bearable. I want to give a second kudos to the Soul Collector character, the actress portraying her did such a freaking neat job with her, the way the character spoke sounded so ominous and creepy, her whole aesthetic while simple was still so cool to look at, I agree that she really was weirdly fascinating and honestly, her character stuck in my head for so long and that's when you know a character really made a good impression. I agree that it was such a shame they didn't bring her back, she could've been a rival to the angel of death. That or she could've been one of the big bads for season 1 or season 2 lol. Rex and Hannah, YES. Haha I love them too. Sure they were the first major villains but they were so fun and memorable and made for an entertaining duo. Even though their defeat was made way too easy, the ride along the way up until their final moments was a fun one to watch from Rex's charming demeanor to Hannah's petty rivalry with Prue, it was just great lol. If I were to add some personal choices even though you nailed all the good ones, I would go with... ▶Kali the Mirror Demon - Pretty much the same reason why I like The Soul Collector. The actress portraying her looked so freaking cool (the juxtaposition where she looks like a pure ethereal priestess with her lace white robe/dress only for her to actually be evil with the hellfire eyes), the concept was interesting what with her inhabiting a mirror world and can take possession of anyone who looks into the mirror she's inhabiting, and she could've succeeded if not for show plot armor since when she was introduced, the Charmed ones were still sorta new to the craft. But yeah really, it's the stage presence of the character that I like so much. The scenes where Kali gives Aviva her power and then when she leaves, you see Kali's true nature revealed with the fire and the demonic eyes and the scene where she takes possession of Aviva and says "Hello Aviva" in that demonic voice, love it haha. ▶Dantalian The Dark Priestess - The actress portraying her really nailed that evil seductress vibe but I'll admit, it's mostly her aesthetic and presence that I love so much. And her plan actually almost worked since she was able to corrupt Prue and somewhat Piper and Phoebe but she underestimated how the evil infecting the later two would lead to her downfall. Fun fact I actually remember watching her episode when I was a kid and being borderline traumatized when the Charmed ones froze her hand and smashed it LOL (I was like 9 or 10 when I saw that while watching with my dad haha). But yeah for what she was, I enjoyed the character. ▶Abraxas - This one is purely just for the aesthetic, it was cool seeing the makeup artist go the extra mile to make someone look like an actual demon and I wished that they did more of that because we did get some other demon designs like the Wendigo and Hecate and her bridesmaids. Anyway his plan was interesting reading the book backwards reversing their spells so it was an interesting concept but I feel like it could've been better.

The Magic School thing is one of the biggest annoying things brought in later though to be fair as I've shared before, I loathed the magical fairytale CW type style the show went to after Constance's departure. Anyway it's annoying because it was so clearly just an excuse to rip off Harry Potter that was popular at this time. And you can tell by how sloppily it was introduced for the reasons you mentioned like if it really was a thing, why didn't Grams enrol them in there? And considering how in the later half of the show when Gideon is defeated, they hardly ever go back to magic school and that even the elders were planning on closing the school down and couldn't give less of a damn preserving it until Paige steps up to run it. It's just so tacky, so awful, just horrible writing all around lol And the Witchstock episode, I still remember hearing the fact checking of Gram's age and how she was 14 when she got knocked up with Patty, was all kinds of what the actual f*ck LMAO And you brought up a funny inconsistency of Gram's age/appearance that literally happens in the same episode, how in the hell can she age 20 years in a few months? Silly madness haha. The Prue erasure was especially heinous. Like fine whatever, they couldn't bring her back but they could've still left some mementos like you suggested. They actually kinda did this in the season 4 debut with Piper wearing Prue's leather jacket but it was only for that episode. They should've had it be a regular thing she wore that could symbolize that Prue was always with her in spirit through that jacket and by wearing it, she feels the strength of her older beloved sister within her keeping the original power of three meaning intact metaphorically. And Phoebe. Just... AWFUL. She went from the heart of the show to one of the worst. It's like two different characters... But let's be honest, I feel like most of these plot-holes wouldn't have come up had Constance stayed on and they allowed her to continue being a writing force for it since it was her idea and even if she was making it up as she went, I just feel like she would remember more things versus Kern who clearly wasn't that interested in the lore of the story.

I do think it’s implied that they bound Paige’s witch powers when she was born, but this didn’t bind her Whitelighter powers. Just like how the sister’s magic was bound and was only unbound after Grams died and they were reunited as sisters in the manor. Same thing happened with Paige getting g her witch powers back in the manor.
So after skimming through the scripts of the series, I realized that I blended a few different episodes together... Yes, the first witch is Neena, they do reference Buffy but only if you're a die-hard Buffy fan (because the references go back to Angel that barely connect with BtVS, even if they are in the same universe), the "Slayer" ideal is hinted at 4 times and those blended together with a partial line in the comics because I was watching the comics on RU-vid. So in the episodes focused around charisma carpenters.
And what I noticed when Piper and Phoebe turn into evil witches I think somehow there is also warlocks in their bloodline so probably the female warlock that kidnapped through she knows about they're lineage so look out in the past life's the warrens P Russell and the evil enchantress so probably they were evil witches in their bloodline and in Buffy witches can be evil when they want to be because I remember when Willow was depressed because Tara what's taken away from her so she turned into a evil witch so I think it could be a choice when witches want to be evil 🔮😇😈 0:00

I like the new background. It's nice. They're different universes. Witches in Buffy don't follow the anti-personal gain rule, and can do other kinds of magic then having 1-3 active powers. Sort of like HarryPotter, minus needing wands. Marcy Steadwell was a witch practitioner; those who follow the neo-pegan religion of Wicca. I personally knew someone who was like that and told me that wicca is all about the belief in nature and all its natural properties. Buffy's mentioning is just talking about the show, and the guardians of Pandora's box was just using the idea of slayers, but changing parts to avoid copyrights. Oh and the queen's death marks them all, gotta come from The Vampire Chronicles (Interview with the Vampire), only in the books a new queen was needed to avoid genocide. Charisma Carpenter and Brian Thompson who were in both shows. Buffy is fictional, I've got a theory for that. Arnold Schwarzenegger film, Last Action Hero. A kid with a magic ticket enters in one of his films, tries to tell him the truth by taking him to Blockbuster to c a lifesize poster of Terminator. Only find Sylvester Stallone face. That theory goes for same actors in any but same franchise series of appearing in different spinnoffs. Even the same one, like Brain returned as Cronus. Like changing the past of ppl's faces. I had a section that I had to cut out talking about how personal gain might have played a role in Buffy - especially when Willow went off the rails in season 6 - and that Tara might have low-key referenced it when she told Willow she was misusing magic in Tabula Rasa, saying that it's not what magic is for, but there are definitely a lot of differences as well! And I like the Harry Potter comparison, too ~ there are definitely similar vibes there! I did wonder about whether to include Marcie as an example, since we never saw her use any real magic, but Barbas thought she was witch enough to add to the list, so I think there must have been some sort of magical ability there, you know? Yeah, there were definitely a few actors and actresses that appeared on both shows (Amy Adams, Armin Shimerman and Greg Vaughan as well!) but Whistler was the only one I could see playing the same character on both shows.. though Fate the Winx had some interesting suggestions on the parallels between both of Amy Adam's characters! Oh, that's cool! I've never seen Smallville, but I've heard it's good! And yes, absolutely! I've been working on the Rewriting Season 4 video a lot lately! It's actually gonna be in six parts (Intro/Premiere/S4 Part One/S4 Part Two/Finale/Breakdown) and I hope to upload it sometime next month! Probably around Thanksgiving ~ I'm super excited! As I've say before of hating the elders of stripping a witch's power in every lifetime, cause one of them misused it, it like an eternal punishment. It should of getting downgraded for the newly current life but not all others. Piper slow things down, but was respectful, so she got upgraded. I think with Prue, she was okish (handshaking), not bad but not all good. She would've gotten it back at the same lvl as before. At a random timing. And random means she could've gotten it along side telekinesis, or her 2nd or 3rd power. Those r my fan-opinions that u may use if u wish for her. P.S. Talking about vampires, as Bram Stroker gave Dracula more powers and weaknesses. Atomkinesis, turning into a regular looking wolves and mist. Weakness r can't cross running water (rivers, rain, or oceans) can't go outside 100 miles of his homeland unless he brings soil, but stays in range. But biggest forgotten weakness of all, is white roses has the same effect like garlic to vampires. White Roses in the original vampiric tales.

Well way back in the 90s Charmed and The Buffy gang was supposed to crossover unfortunately this never happened because Shannen Doherty she was also best friends with Sarah Michelle gellar and also the producers of Charmed and Buffy they know each other very well it was supposed to happen but it never happened unfortunately and I wish it did happened it would have been one hell of a great crossover 0:01

Jasmine being an avatar makes so much sense! And what if she is THE avatar? The first avatar? Which would explain why she had to be "reborn" from cordelias body. She was so powerful that she needed a being to be reborn from. And this would explain why the avatars in charmed decided to strike their plan in season 5, as u stated which was similar time as in angel. They sensed her birth and knew it was a sign to start utopia.

Something else i noticed is how the woogeyman was freed in charmed. Remember in buffy how specifically in season 1 there was an earthquake which was a sign for the master? What if that earthquake was the one that freed the woogeyman? This could also be a possibility for the woogeyman being freed when grams vanquished him. Another magical occurance? We know from charmed earthquakes are not that common. So what if it was supernatural?

But what if that spell was powering the seer to become the source of all evil? A spell that gave her a bit of control over the sources heir? And what if when she got interrupted by Xander, the seer couldn't control the baby's power anymore, thus losing control and getting vanquished? Dark willow was basically trying to bring forth the darkest force of evil and end the world. Who is the darkest force in charmed? The source.

A funny thing i noticed is that amy adams was on both shows. In charmed she played "the unluckiest girl" (forgot her name but she was cursed by the darklighter) and on buffy she played Taras sister. Now imagine if after prue saved her from the curse, Prue also might have gotten rid of her destiny as a whitelighter? Yes we see her help people but what if all that eventually faded and her true destiny was something else..? Demonic even..? @@FateTheWinx she might have knew that magic existed but she wasn't aware that she could have been the next white lighter in the future Maggie Murphy but she does help people actually for example working with elders people in the house she does care much so it's obvious that she had to be the next future white lighter and Beth in another alternate version she's wait times different than Maggie but they could have some similarities Beth she had to be Maggie from another parallel universe so they have to be an explanation how can Charmed and Buffy can connect

What you said about vampires in Charmed and vampires in Buffy the Vampire Slayer they cannot be compared so it's not false but I do believe that Dracula was the original vampire so he is a different species a different kind of vampire can turn into a bat so I think in The buffyverse not all vampires are the same by the way in Dracula in Buffy the Vampire Slayer he is similar to the Vampire Queen in Charmed so my thoughts is that the original vampires were the one that could turn into bats and also there's been a different species of vampires throughout history since they were vampire slayers hunting vampires and in Charmed The Source has banished them so I think he banished Dracula the the Vampire Queen so probably these were the originals before other vampires existed because according to history they are different species of vampires according to real life history of vampirism 0:01
I know I will enjoy this so let me just add my charmed mustard: I would have loved for them to have crossed, yet I think the writing style of the shows/how they utilize their metaphors is vastly different which makes it hard for me to imagine that.* Also, magic can be used by literally anyone in Buffy, yes especially under a hellmouth, but it can be argued that Willow would have never been such a strong witch had she not started practicing, yet in Charmed it‘s inevitable that if you are magic, you will cause magic at some point. Some are stronger of course than the others. I think looking just at the Buffy universe it‘s possible but not heavily implied, yet you are making good points as I‘m writing this and watching (vampires/dracula/more “pure“). Also, magic is way more fluid and Charmed-like in Angel I think (never watched it outside of S1) but I‘ve seen clipsy As a kid Charmed‘s magic felt way more real even though it was inconsistent and bad CGI, I think it‘s because they use it all the time and it‘s so integral to the universe that you only start to see the good acting and the things you know that do make sense, if that makes sense! As a kid Buffy always felt to me like those shows without magic and that are being adult, sprinkled with some magic (didn‘t ever get to concept but was never hooked until I watched it recently) and I don’t think Buffy would have helped me escape reality, like Charmed did. In a sense now it does but back then Season 6 would have destroyed me as a kid, Charmed never got that dark lol. Since you mentioned the holy trinity you used to watch, can you relate to this and/or did Season 6 prepare you for life in a way, assuming you watched it as a kid like I did witch Charmed. *still I think had Joss Whedon not been such a control freak, we would have most likely seen a crossover and it would have been the most ICONIC thing ever!
Very true ~ I feel like if there was to be a crossover between the two shows, Brad Kern would have had to been kicked from the project because the two writing styles would never have jelled well. Still, though.. if they could have made it work that would have been awesome! And that's a fair point! Especially about Willow! I was actually rewatching season 2 of Buffy for this video and wondered how Willow went from having no magical experience to being able to perform a ritual that even GILES said he couldn't do, even though he'd done a lot of dark magic in his life. I think you're right that the Hellmouth played a role! Oh cool! What did you think of Angel when you watched it? I've never seen it but it seems like it must have been halfway decent, since it ran longer than most spin-offs.. Very true! I used to think Charmed had amazing CGI, but the older I get the more I'm like.. mmm.. yeah.. Holly was right about that, haha. And right?! Season 6 of Buffy was SO dark, I'm still not sure how to feel about it, haha. On one hand it's nice to see a show deal with some real-world issues like depression, addiction, money struggles, etc, but on the other it felt like you were watching a whole different show, where they just wanted to make the characters as sad and miserable as possible.. And.. that's a good question! We didn't actually see most of season six of Buffy until we were a little older, since we mostly watched it at our babysitter's and it was usually seasons 2 and 5 that were playing, but we did see Once More, With Feeling and the Dark Willow arc! We had no idea what was going on, but we were here for it! We loved the songs from OMWF for sure, and sung them a lot.. it's probably good that we didn't see most of season six until we were a little older, though, so we could better understand just how awful Warren really was. I mean, Jonathan and Andrew were bad, for sure, but Warren.. there was something inherently wrong with him. It's really hard for me to feel bad for him given everything he'd done. How about you? What do you think of season 6? Did you watch it when you were a kid? And completely agree! Joss Whedon is a brilliant writer, but WHAT a control freak.. I recently saw that he was apparently jealous of James Marsters because he got so popular playing Spike, and it's like.. dude, you helped CREATE the character and make him what he was.. can't you just take the compliment? Does everything have to be some weird competition?
@@weirdlybeloved yep, like you mentioned once, Brad would kind of ruin the scripts. Besides the hellmouth playing a huge role,I also think that Willow was naturally gifted since she was called by that demon who recruited Anya due to her powerful nature, asking her to join her. I actually never watched Angel, just reviews and clips :) I don‘t know if I could handle the assasination of Cordelia, even if the rest of the show is pretty decent. In one review it was stated that Season 4‘s Gwen was the closest we got to an X Men Character in the Buffy-Verse! And Charmed Characters kind of resemble characters like that (unique active powers) minus the witchcraft part. And you‘re right to feel that way, Buffy herself was a huge punching back near the end. Yeah I didn‘t even consider Warren while writing, that makes it even more disturbing for a child, especially the scene where they manipulate that girl to obey them using a spell! I actually watched a video called “I wish I could - (and don’t) hate Buffy S6“ on RU-vid and she mentions what you wrote, that it doesn‘t feel like the show Buffy. To that she says that that‘s the point. That everyone of us reaches their season 6‘s at some point and the season raises the question: can we understand them at their lowest? If we can, we can do that for ourselves, too. She feels as if the season is kind in a way because it evokes compassion for us humans since we fall apart sometimes, like the Scoobies do. Overall Season 6 hit me the hardest hence why it‘s one of my favorites, I‘m very glad it exists. It‘s a slice of real life🐇 Thank you for your response!
@@KillStealMusic Very true! I'd forgotten that D'Hoffryn tried to recruit Willow early on! You know, looking back, the potential for Willow to go evil was always there.. she could be dangerous when she didn't get her own way. :/ Oh wow, what did they do to Cordelia in Angel?! I've heard bits and pieces, but nothing definitive.. And right?! Omigosh, Warren, Jonathan and Andrew did a LOT of messed up things, but what they did to Katrina really just.. truly awful. And then they kill her for it! Honestly I felt like The Trio were the worst villains in all of Buffy, because at least the ones like Glory and the Master and Caleb are just selfish, ruthless beings and they know it. Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew are human beings, not under any sort of spell or influence. They have a conscience and yet still thought it would be fun to torment Buffy (who has actually helped Jonathan several times!) and assault and kill people. Ooh, I could go on, but I just.. I can't stand them, and I don't think Andrew deserved a redemption arc, either. And I like that perspective on season 6! I'm really glad it exists, too ~ it was definitely different, but I love the deep emotions and real-world consequences of their choices! Besides, the dark tone really fit Buffy's story arc of season 6. To be ripped out of heaven and then just have her be over it in a couple of episodes would have just ruined the emotional impact.. her needing the entire season to find a way to move forward is MUCH more realistic and beautiful, in my opinion! ^^
I don't think like idea of Buffy and Charmed sharing same universe. I miss time when every show and movie had his own world. Every world have is own rules and characters. Why everything needs to share a universe after success of MCU?
Buffy and Charmed could have crossed over they could have been a possibility but probably they had no ideas how to bring them together and also witches in Charmed you never saw them that much because there needs to be a community of witches in Charmed to join the witches in Buffy to cross path with each other because I would have loved to see Willow and Piper in tracks with each other as best friends and Buffy with Phoebe as best friends and also Prue Tara maclay they could have understand each other or both of them could have understand each other if all of these TV series crossover it would have been a successful story line and good writing also but I think there was no great smart idea to cross them over this is why this never happened I'm not sure but this has to be the case?! 0:00 @weirdlybeloved
Ok, bear with me on this one. IF we ignore the comic books, I have a fan theory. Chris is the reincarnation of Prue. Charmed has shown that reincarnation stays within the family. Of all the sisters, he looks the most like Prue, even having green eyes. He shares Prue’s power, and proficiency, of telekinesis. The timeline would add up, with Chris being conceived around 2003 and Prue dying in 2001. Finally, this would explain why the sisters were never able to summon Prue or speak to her, even during Wyatt and Chris’s Wiccaning. Just a theory I thought of, but again we have to pretend the comics didn’t happen

I mean the problem we're most likely 17 hour working days and lack of funding... Which kind of brings out the worst in people... Charmed worked under a lot of financial blocks from the higher up... that kind if stuff always created a toxic working enviroment...
