It's really cool what you are doing. Only since short time you can find information about those stuff in Saudi Arabia in the internet. You should definitely go to Al-Wahbah crater near Makkah (8 hours from Riyadh). South of the crater you can find some lava flows with bizarre tunnels formed by the molten rock.
Walid El Maasry There's an English book called "Desert trips from Riyadh". It's quite famous with the expat community and has been around almost 30 years now. Maybe you can order it from Jarir Bookstore, or you must find someone to bring it from abroad. Or maybe one of the shops around the Al Sanidi shop on Eastern Ring Road (but I don't think they sell this English guide book). You should also visit Faisal's Pinnacle, just between Makkah Road and edge of the world (but on the bottom side of the cliff).
I don't know any similar book for Jeddah. But the "Desert Treks from Riyadh" (I accidentally wrote "Trips" before) does include a trip along the whole Hejaz ancient railway. Looking forward to your next video.
