This might be the best line up of this band for a while, very tight, drummer is really together and swings well, reminds me a bit of the late great Ricky Parent.
I had no idea that Michael Cleveland could play guitar so well. His fiddle playing is as good as it gets. Really fine mandolin and banjo player rounded out this trio beautifully!
That looks like Steve Morse on Guitar. Fills in for Ritchie Blackmore in Deep Purple these days. The Sound quality ain't as bad as I thought it would be since I doubt you used a real Mic to record the audio instead of "just" your cell phone. Which for the most part pretty much sucks. You should really consider that when recording anything live. Especially music, because it is what it sounds like that really matters. Like a Samson Go Mic for your cell phone. Or even the cheapest USB mic Samson sells is better than any cell phone mic. Zoom also makes good mics for cell phones. Just a thought.

Here’s a video I took of Michael and his band (10 years ago now!) at a small festival in Illinois. A thunderstorm knocked out the festival’s PA system, so the guys gathered underneath a nearby picnic pavilion and played their show! The guitarist is FANTASTIC ! He keeps the Blackmore tone and playing style .. that's Fender 70s audio, Blackmore trademark sound .. FANTASTIC .. great playing !
Just so happens I was flying to DFW from Louisville during Derby weekend and I got to listening to Michael and group and missed my flight! Lol.... I was supposed to be home by 6pm and didn't get home til 2am but it was worth it! Lol...Well, now it is!
