Hi, my name is Gauri. I'm a chess master from Chicago, United States. When I was a kid, I made my first chess account grandmastergauri because it has been my lifelong goal since I was 6 years old. My goal of this channel is to share my knowledge and passion for chess with like minded fans!

At 1:20 I forgot to mention a key variation. If black moves the rook anywhere on the d-file like Rd1, White can mate by playing Re2 check, Kd8, Bg5 check, Kc8, Re8!!
Spoiler for the end: If the king doesn't take and instead promotes the pawn, you have Nd2+ forking the king and queen. If the king doesn't take and moves the king, you have Nc3 preventing the promotion of the black pawn. Nice puzzle and presentation.
