Yes, the digital FPV VTX gets power and tx/rx signals from the flight controller. That allows the VTX to transmit the OSD information so it can be shown in the goggles.
Awesome flight, its funny right before I read the description I was like hey this almost looks like somewhere here in Nor Cal... Have you ever been to Highland Lakes down by Ebbetts Pass ?? I was thinking recently it would be a cool to camp and fly around there, similar terrain with two lakes in the valley
That was kiiler. Was thinking another wing behind could catch your reflection in that absolutely still water. I need to make sure I bring a wing next trip up there. Great stuff.
You fly that T-1 so well that the results often look more like a well-tuned quad than a fixed wing flight. And what an outstanding job your little action cam does too! Another awesome flight and edit!
Thanks! The wind was super calm, so that helped a lot (you can tell by how glassy those ponds are). I use Gyroflow for stabilization with the Peanut, so that really takes out all the little bumps as well.
Ya, really awesome job. Love your vids with this airframe. I just finally picked up a Peanut/Go2 and really hoping to get similar results with it on my flying wings that are too small for a GP. Hope to see more! @@zephyrfpv1901
Man, such a great job all around (awesome piloting, editing, music, etc). Love how much motion blur you achieved with the little action cam (guessing with ND filters and manual aperture). Not gonna lie, enticed me to break my gear back out after a long hiatus, lol.. Thanks so much for sharing and hope you have more soon!
Yes, I really like it. It seems to handle wind a bit better than a standard wing. And for travel like this, it packs down quickly into the original box just by removing 2 screws.
