June 2024- We are a family of 5. We are Mum and Dad who try to provide a fun and enjoyable quality of life for our 3 sons with varied and complex, learning disabilities and autism. Our family dog will also come along, from time to time. It can be hard to find suitable places to go and things to do. We will show you our experiences, which may help you to plan yours.
July 2022- Like many disabled people and their families we have been met with the most vile instance of disability discrimination, ending access to our hotel stays. We thought-Do not give up! Adapt! We're giving it a go.....Welcome to the Autistic caravan!
new Subbie. Great vlog. Boy those winds were crazy. Can't believe someone cut your water hose, how rude. Thanks for sharing. We vlog daily and loving looking back at all the memories. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you very much👍 Both the wind and the water hose incident took us by surprise but we still had a great time, as you said it's all memories that we have to look back on. Thank you for the sub😁Will pop over and take a look, the weather must be much better over where you are, than it is here in Lancashire ☔
Thank you for this video I am taking my niece and nephew in august to butlins and the bed idea is great cause my nephew is autistic and he is non verbal we think my niece is too but nephew will try escape so really glad I came across this and will copy some of your ideas and the sticker what u put on the front of the door is great as my nephew doesnt have no awareness of danger we are not stopping in apartment tho just a room but I will deffo be putting the bed against the door when sleeping thank you 😊
Safety is always a worry and our main priority whenever we go anywhere, so we are glad if this has helped. When they were little we also used to take stick on window alarms ( we would stick ours on with blue tack) which sound when the window is opened, you can get them on ebay, amazon etc. Hope you all have a lovely holiday 👍
Yes this video helped a lot the room what we staying in I have heard has no key to lock the windows with so just hoping we will be okay as we are in a room not apartment x
Yes, it was a great day, Thank you for watching. We hope to go to a 'Day out with Thomas' in a different part of the country one day, to see some of the other engines like Percy and Mavis 👍
Why should we buy a second hand car that we don't know how its been looked after, when we have had this one from new for 4 and a half years! We paid £3000.00 advanced payment and have been paying a monthly lease for four and a half years. |The point is that, when we entered the lease contract we were told we could buy it at the end of the lease but Motability have removed this option mid lease without informing any Motability customers! Thanks for taking the time to comment👍
Yep, I just did 1 coat, It seems to have done the trick. I'm going to give it another coat at the beginning of next season just to be on the safe side considering it rains every time we go away and we've still got over half a tin left 👍
yes, it was a great day. looks like you have been having a great time yourself, We have been enjoying watching your trip and adventures in Scotland 👍👍👍 X
@@theautisticcaravan3783 just found out Flogas do two sizes of 3.9kg bottles one is 450mm high the other one is 370mm more like the old calor bottle I got given the taller one so the 370mm might be lighter all have standard propane POL connection
@@markthegasman6654 Thanks, yes we are going to check those out, we could do without having to lug this one about. Apologies for delay in reply, we've been away.
Yeh, we have thought about the weight and it is not ideal, we were just relieved that we did have the room for the 6kg. We will have to see how it goes but we'll look into that, thank you.
Hello there, I suppose it just comes with having an older caravan that they will be a little more prone to faults but we would not swap it for a new one. Thank you for the comment, just popped over to your channel and it is good to find someone else with an older van. The wiring in ours looks like a bowl of spaghetti so it was a good job there was an electrician to hand.
