We are all about exploring the Back Roads of Ontario and surrounding States. We use our 2002 Ford Ranger that has been slightly modified for exploring. We sleep in our home built 6x10 cargo trailer that has been converted for some off grid living. We love camping year round.... follow along if you interested in building a cargo trailer and then using it to explore the back country. Hope you enjoy, Please Like Subscribe and Share my Channel

This is great! Beautiful rugged scenery and drone shots. A nice touch just to hear the sounds and see the visuals, with no annoying music in the background or banal chit chat.
Sorry about that. They just updated the payment system yesterday and I needed to finish the setup. It should be working now. Appreciate you letting me know! If you have any more questions please just ask. Zac
Thanks so much! It was a good plan for a while…..but then we made changes. Please check it out in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=qYfgjwkOivFnOdxE
Hi, yes I’m still selling the guides. Thanks for letting me know about the website, it’s been giving me problems lately. I’ll get on it and let you know when it’s fixed.
I’m looking for an either 6’ or 7’ wide all aluminum cargo trailer that’s 12’ to 14’ in length with a “V” nose. I’d prefer the split doors in the rear, in case I need to back up against trees, rocks, etc. I’d also prefer it to have a 7’ high roof, so that I can install the bed close to the ceiling when not in use. I’ll insulate as much as possible and set it up for shore power or boon docking, using solar power.
Yes 7 foot wide is great! I wish they mad e a 7 foot wide one with the tires tucked in under the trailer. Sounds like yours will be a great build. We made modifications to our build in this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=VlYfJprUXoMa75wN
@@waysoutback Our current pickup is a 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed. Our last pickup was a 11 Ranger XLT super cab with the 4.0L and 5spd automatic transmission, 4WD. It was our 4th Ranger, as we’ve been buying them since the 80s when they first came out. Good durable pickups
Thank you so much. We had to take a little break from making videos but will ge back at it soon. Did you see the changes we made to our trailer in this video? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=VlYfJprUXoMa75wN

No one made you watch the video! Obviously, Mommy didn't teach you, "If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all!" Now say goodbye and go away, boy wonder!👌
Agreed! Made this video a while ago, have learnt a few things since. Have a more recent video with significant changes here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=DpHzlXSaq_h_BsR3
Scott vintage 1972. Price was right. It’s not very fast but very stable, which is great for fishing. we can even jump into the water and pull ourselves back in without tipping it.
Thank you very much quite the compliment. We did make some changes to the trailer u can see here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=WwyWAyJXt4rB4FFW
Nice video sir. I noticed last year on a trip to alaska that U.S. Bush beans are different from Canadian Bush beans. Those with the same label. It was interesting.
You've got me thinking that the super heavy ramp door on mine could be replaced with a bump-out shell on the back- but top hinge the assembly so a car can still be loaded using portable ramps that could store under the chassis. Kinda like the tip-up nose on the C-5 cargo plane, but on the back of a trailer. Nice work. I have all the ideas and inspiration, just not the physical drive to get out there and get mine going.
That would be a pretty neat idea!…. I’ve seen a few trailers at the junkyard that have a front or back that’s fibreglass with the wood frame in between. Maybe you can pull one of those off and fibreglass it to size? To make it out of metal even aluminum I think would be pretty heavy, you might have to end up sliding your axle back. I hear you on the motivation…. I’m staring at mine and debating about pulling it all apart to double insulate it for this winter. 😅
Nicely done- I'm converting a car trailer so it can be dual purpose camper or car hauler. I've found that pop-up campers with bad canvas can be had for almost nothing- so one can get the water heater, furnace, power panels, gas detectors, propane stuff, cooktop, water pumps/sink and tanks for basically free. Buy a rough looking popup for $300 and remove all the donor parts- then sell the gutted shell for $300 to someone to convert to a snowmobile/motorcycle/utility trailer. I sold one to a young lady who turned it into a mobile tea and biscuit business by just making it a portable kitchen with all the canvas removed.
That’s such an awesome idea! All the parts would be the right size for a small trailer build! I love it when ones think outside the box! We made a few improvements since this video- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=Bh3cmdlIUw-TelXP

Love your videos guys. Wife and I (from UK) have been winter camping in Canada (Rockies, Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise etc) for our honeymoon. Your videos make us want to get back over there and do some more! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Very nice. You set it up to enjoy outdoors both winter and spring. Not designed to live in but a. Rey good getaway rig. Kind of inspired me to make one. Simple and less expensive. Thanks for sharing.
Ya we love it but aren’t interested in living in it full time. We did make significant changes to it in this video. Let me know what you think ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6G1-MKZaC4c.htmlsi=FqfZfSJQTi-74wbu
