the resort looks very nice Are there places where people can Snorkel from the beach or do you have to take an Excursion? We are thinking of booking a trip for this Fall. Thank you
I enjoyed a fantastic 1 week stay in Feb 2024 with my family. Overall it was a terrific place with the friendliest staff I think I have ever experienced at any resort. I would also recommend booking a deep sea fishing trip from the resort. It’s not expensive for a split charter half day and it’s a super experience with a superb view of the Pitons. Having the resort located only 5 mins drive from the airport after a long flight from Ireland / London was a bonus and there is no disruptive noise from aircraft at the resort. The food was excellent and the evening entertainment was also very good. I will always remember lying in a hammock sipping a cocktail and listening to the waves. I would recommend Coconut Bay, you will love it😎👍
The smaller pools will be warmer, not as much water to heat with the sun. Being very far South, St Lucia is typically 83 PLUS year round. When we were here it was Oct. the Larger activity pool was cooler, but still warm enough... you want some refreshing, IMO.
I love St. Lucia but I want to enjoy St. Lucia without stopping on a cruise ship which is the only way we’ve been to St. Lucia so far. It’s time to book a resort and see what the beauty of St. Lucia has to offer instead of being rushed to get back on a ship.
@@ItsMeDeeDeemaybe. I’ve been there and the pools, rooms and food is great. The beach flat out is bad next to the resort. BUT if you walk about a mile or so you get to a very solid beach with a nice level of waves and decent sands. The water isn’t as good as the Caribbean but it’s fine. Overall the resort is great but if the beach is the most important thing to you then you should pass, otherwise it’s great
This resort is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island (east)…so the water is choppier and the winds more prominent. But you can always visit other beaches on the Northern and Western part of the island that are a lot calmer and serene.
other comments are exactly correct. Windward side of island so it is some what choppy, however there is a small reef out by Marina island that breaks the waves. If you want to stay at a Calmer beach, pick a property on the West side, there are quite a few on the other side of the island.
St Lucia LOST a lot of business due to their restrictions, FYI Mexico tourism never closed. Although some resorts condensed occupancy to sister resorts, and closed some resorts for a little while.
