So, do you have to take this test if you already have a motorcycle endorsement?

so i live in BC - Im interested in getting my motor bike license however i would love to get the navi - so can the road test as well as the skills test be done on the navi??? orrrr do I have to actually get a 200CC? :(
@1stgearmoto
@1stgearmoto 3 месяца назад
You can still do your final road test on the Navi. It’ll get you a full license. You just won’t be allowed to take passengers. That’s the only restriction.

Why is the test so long for a 3 wheeler?
@1stgearmoto
@1stgearmoto 11 месяцев назад
It’s standard for all three wheel and two wheel MST tests. Most of it is explaining what the rider has to do. Actual riding is pretty minimal.

@@johnnyye8024 I think waddling to the starting line is fine, it meant put your feet down after engaging the clutch to catch yourself when losing balance

Would a new rider benefit from a course like this or would they need more time on the road before trying something like this?

Should be passing to the right of the first slalom cone. That way you only go around 4 cones. Passing to the left has you doing five
@1stgearmoto
@1stgearmoto Год назад
Completely agree! But the momentum of the turn can be easier to maintain to transition later. I see it with students all the time. The challenge of a the uturn can take an extra moment to recover from which will put the motorcycle on the right side of the cone.

What distance is the cone spacing for the slalom?
@brentfellers9632
@brentfellers9632 2 года назад
It changes wit the length of your bike. I believe it's determined by your turn radius.

I have just watched your other video where a middle aged lady is practising her skills with you, at the end of the video you said, well done you passed, I am sorry but you are misleading people, that lady made at least 20 mistakes, mainly on a double lane road you do not ride your motorbike on the very left side (P1) of the road if you are not turning left, she repeated the same mistake over and over!!!! Secondly, when you are riding on a road you have to check (shoulder check) all intersections ( left or right) that lady has not done any of those.. I wanted to give comments there under that video but comments were disabled, could it be because many people were complaining about you training skills???

This isn't a road test, it's not testing your road skills, it's only testing your ability to handle a bike at low speeds.

You comment a lot about the rear brake, I now wonder how much difference it will make with the new linked brakes...
@1stgearmoto
@1stgearmoto 5 лет назад
It’s still useful. Linked brakes are quite gentle. Even stomping on the rear brake doesn’t pull hard on the front.
@billmoffitt7411
@billmoffitt7411 4 года назад
Harley linked brakes don't link until your speed reaches 25mph, so slow speed maneuvers such as these would never see the front brake applied via linked brakes.
@wnose
@wnose 5 лет назад
Tips: keep your head up, eyes straight, speed approx 10 km/h, keep clutch in friction zone, steady pressure on rear brake, lean away during the slow turn, turn head hard during the u-turn
