Why is there no drain plug to drain the Transaxle Oil? No matter how good the oil is, the properties of the oil deteriorate over time. To maximize the service life of the transmission, it is always advisable to change the transmission oil regularly, isn't it?
This is dependent on the make/model and specifications to meet the Manufacturer's demand. We do put drain bolts on almost every model series that we build, but if the manufacturer specs it w/o the drain bolt, then we build to suit. Perhaps you should also consider "customer" opinion, such as : "Why do your units Not have serial or model numbers stamped or listed on the label, yet your website requires entry for information?" "Why, when scanned, does the label code send you to a site that requires a serial #, then yield an error?" "Why is that site not updated to reflect the oil type needed for the "HD or TZ-450" unit (which was mentioned in the Spartan Mower sales brochure)?" "What are people to do who don't have a cell phone or internet access?" "Why is there no phone number which gets you beyond your distributor of parts?" I'm sure I've other queries, but from the above you should get my point... a very unhappy customer

Tough torque transmissions seem problematic. Why do these gaskets wear out so quickly? Seems like the cheaper the Kanzaki Kokyukoki Corporation can get, the more they push their consumers away. Hydro gear transmissions seem to be longer lasting, especially in a unit that is considered non serviceable.

I'm honestly unfamiliar with gaskets wearing out prematurely. Not necessarily, terrain, whether steep or hilly and operation are factors. Easy with the foot forward and reverse will add many hours to the life of the transaxle

I bought a Cub Cadet XT1brand New about 3 Years ago and it just has a 170 Hours on it and the Transmission went out on it and it should have not went out that quickly all I no the Transmission is a not worth a Shit because I have had a lot of mowers I would never have another one of y’all produce

Ben - We have a “Dealer Tool Kit”. It includes the repair stand, input seal installation tool, ¾” axle seal installation tool and the 1” axle seal installation tool.
