Very responsive. Inquired about our adventure and was emailed the very next day. They included a detailed itinerary and suggestions for when the best time to hike weather wise. Also heard nothing but good things about this company from others who used them.

Hi there! Great to hear you are planning to do the Camino - it's an amazing walk and experience, and sure you won't regret it! The first day of the Camino is definitely one of the toughest, with over 1,300m of ascent and around 500m of descent. It is a steep but fairly gradual climb but you are going up and up unfortunately! However, by the sounds of it you have some great hiking experience and we usually find that it is within most people's abilities as long as they put in some good training beforehand. Please remember that there is a lower level route available should you decide it isn't for you!
Hello there, if you would kindly email hello@macsadventure.com or let me know the name you enquired with I can make sure one of the team contact you asap. Thank you!
Wheres the OFF GRID PART? A Evil Spotify Commercial Told Me to Ask That!!.. But it did bring me here!!!! 😉 Your Channel still looks absolute Badass Though.. Will Still Check it out!! 🤘
WOW! That looks great. Have been considering a Mac`s walk for some time now. But having just come back from Spain and Portugal this year. It will have to wait a little. Being in Australia, a New Zealand holiday would be a little less air travel and a lot more time to relax. I`ll have to have a look at the itinerary on the Mac`s website for this one. Cheers
Thank you, @craigbuchan316. I hope you loved Spain and Portugal, our team loves visiting there for walking and cycling adventures. New Zealand would be a great relaxing trip, especially with what all it offers and the short flight! We'd be happy to help you with any plans. It's on the website here www.macsadventure.com/holiday-2400/queen-charlotte-track/ and you can contact us anytime at hello@macsadventure.com Emma Williams The People Behind the Scenery
We are a walking party of 6 people. In order for each traveller to access the app, do we all need to share the same login and password details in order to have separate access to the maps, or is there any way that party travellers can access the app and our shared routes with separate logins? Great app, by the way. Really looking forward to using it.
Hi, thank you for your comment. We are so glad you are enjoying our app and look forward to using it. Each traveller on your booking can download the Macs App, and will have access to each map and document. If you enter your travelling companion's email addresses through your Macs account, they will receive an automated email prompting them to create an account with us. Alternatively, they can register through our website - myaccount.macsadventure.com/register/ I hope you find this information useful, and easy to use. However, if you are having any trouble, please do let us know and we can provide extra assistance to help. Have a great Macs Adventure! Emma | Marketing Team The People Behind the Scenery
Useful information but the background music is louder than the soft spoken narrator and is frustrating and difficult to hear the voice for an American esp. with European accept. Tone the music down and let the background music stay in the background.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video and sharing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your input as it helps us improve our content, and we're committed to making our videos the best experience for everyone. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the background music being too loud. I hope our latest videos have improved audio levels, and we will work to ensure that the narrator's voice remains clear and audible, especially for our American audience. Till we have a new version of this video, I will add subtitles to help and make the video more accessible to all. If you have any more suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to make your experience with Macs Adventure as enjoyable as possible. Happy adventures, Emma, Macs Marketing Team The People Behind the Scenery
Last time I walked this it was in August and 90+ F. I was 69 and carrying my own pack. Took my time and made it to Roncevalles. Have walked both routes into Roncevalles and I think going down the steep hill is easier.
Greetings too! I'm glad you like the video and thank you for highlighting the difficulty understanding the accent. I will bump this video up the list to get subtitles to help future watchers.
@@MacsAdventureTV You are amazing with your customer service, thank you! (...and I apologize if I offended anyone.. ). However, I was able to find a different video of yours, which is mostly very clear, (and does have subtitles): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cFe6DI5hLZg.html I am so happy to have discovered you guys! I will certainly use your self-guided trips on my next trip to Europe!! Thank you! I shall recommend Macs to family and friends :)
That is great to hear, it is a great adventure to take with friends. Our specialists would be more than happy to help you arrange your 2023 trip and help make it even better this year!
Thank you for the feedback. We have a new video in the pipeline and we will take extra care in making the voiceover as clear and easy to follow as possible. We have also started adding subtitles to our videos as an additional option and to assist those with hearing or language difficulties. If we can do anything else to improve our videos in future, please let us know.
I am retired and planning to do the walk. I am interested in your tour, can you advise me, since it will be one of the hardest days, I would like to stop the night at Orisson then Rocenvalles the next day. Can that be arranged as part of your service? I am from New Zealand, how much the tour cost in NZ dollars? Can you extend the tour to Finisterre if so, how much?
