@@helifan2346 Thanks, my XK K110s has bearings plus spacers and it looks like mine will be a close fit as the feathering shaft doesn't seem long enough. I am waiting on the bearing as I lost one when the screw came out of the shaft and I lost it and the spacer.

@@Rockmixerstar And I just got rid of a lot of of spare parts and helis, k110. If not I would send them to you Make sure that you get the original spare parts as there is some cheap material used lately Good luck!

Ah! I have found the problem! The tail rotor was on the wrong way round! I thought of removing my comment but it might help someone else, so I'll leave it. Happy flying, everyone! :)

I see Have you replaced the main shaft? If so, how did you replaced it? To take apart the main shaft from main motor is the trick part That’s where my problem was Make sure it sits all the way down It has to run smoothly when assembled Also, the shaft that holds the blades Follow the instructions and make sure the…forgot the name of the part, but it’s the round part that has a hole in the middle. There are 2 and one with bearings in the middle. One has more play on the shaft than the other, insert that one first, then the one with the bearings and then the one with less play in it. Use plumbers (silicone) grease in this parts. Let me know (Thrust bearing, that’s the name of the head part)

@@helifan2346 Thank you for your answer; i checked it yesterday, almost everything is new now; except the main engine; went flying; in normal mode it goes well (little bit of a bee sound) but when I switch to idle up1 the sound starts to get louder; at idle up2; it almost frightens you; very loud howling sound. everything runs smoothly and the engines also stay cool:; even different canopy, nothing helps .. only thing i can think of is imbalance in the main motor itself ... i have the evo and the main shaft is just with a screw and a collar at the top bearing (also renewed) i measure & weigh no differences in the blade grips the blades; everything is the same.. I don't know what to do, my wife is not happy so much money on spare parts I have already spent.. I hope for a solution 😅

@@rudolphfranken1446 yeah, not cheap. That sound could be blade tracking? Have you checked that? Without seeing it, it’s hard to narrow down the problem But, I remember using several main shafts until one fitted well, not saying that they were bad, it’s just the way the shaft fits in main motor can. Was it hard to pull out the shaft from motor? The sound getting louder…have you checked other videos and it’s the same sound as yours? Sometimes it’s the tail blades, specially if you crashed and haven’t replaced them They go out of whack and some people don’t realize that the tail blades affect performance and they focus on something else, chasing ghosts Yeah, it can get expensive on parts, that’$ where business i$ I haven’t fly for a long time, need to go back to it Check blade tracking and replace tail blades Unless motor can is out or round, either that or the hole where the shaft fits Is it easy when pulling it out the shaft from motor? Did you force it? What did you use? That motor takes time to get it right in place, took me days! Until one day it just fitted right

@@helifan2346 I do indeed already have a few different main shafts, they are already different in size, one fits right in, the other needs a lot of strength, I had one, it was even too thick for the swachplate plate, to be free to be able to slide

Don’t know as I don’t have one But if you have same radio, play with servo ends and see if that make things better Or go to rcgroups scroll down to mini helicopters and you should see they have a subsection for that particular heli or create an account and ask questions there in that subsection, minihelis

Now I remember the M2 tail shaking If you saying that you replaced everything except main and tail motor Did you replace the main shaft? The one that comes from main motor to blade holder? If so, take it apart or replace that shaft. It’s a pain to get it loose from motor can. Don’t force it, use some oil and pliers to get it loose. Assembly back, make sure shaft is all the way in. Before you tight down the bottom set screw, look for flat side on shaft and tight that one just enough to not loose it when making bottom one tight. Now go for the bottom one and the one on the flat side of shaft. Check that side set screw still holding flat part of main shaft and make it tight. Make sure is all tight and now assemble all back together You have or I did have to do this process 2-3 times until no more vibrations Take landing gear off heli, this makes that process easier Don’t think is tail or main motor, it’s the shaft not sitting properly when putting all back together and or motor 2 parts not assembled properly when taking it apart and assembled back together They HAVE to run smooth Run it by hand before getting it on heli It’s frustrating I know! What parts did you replace?

@@helifan2346 I replaced everything but the motor and the bearing blocks but what you said could certainly be the issue when replaced I remember having issues with what you explained I’m going to try that today. Thanks I’ll let you kno how it goes

Push the main gear, black part at the bottom that engages with the motor, all the way up Don’t push from the weak part of the plastic gear Hold the head, the metal part that is at the top and hold it when pushing the gear +hope this helps If not, make a video and will try to help you

If not it would create vibrations This heli is been discontinued, so, hard to get parts for it. If you are committed to learn grab some parts as they would not be available later on

Yes, I replaced the tape since new I personally use the 3M green double side tape and the gorilla gel tape I feel the heli more precise and crisp on maneuvers Just work around electronics as some need no tape as they stick out Cut off the tape around them and I add 2 layers of tape At the end the tape looks like a puzzle Align the board to where it seats and go out to test it If your heli shakes it could very be a bad servo, going bad, replace it

Yes, you need 2 screwdrivers, one to twist and the other to hold the other side screw The screwdriver is JIS size #0, I would recommend you one from moodys brand www.zoro.com/moody-tool-precision-screwdriver-tri-point-0-2-12-in-round-76-2334/i/G3290594/ Look up for JIS screwdrivers as they are not regular Phillips screwdrivers the one that this heli or any other rc toy uses

@@helifan2346 Thank you very much for the quick reply. Could I get those at a hardware store or the like or do they have to be ordered? Any advice on changing the boom? What you have to remove to pull the wires out, how you clip the zip tie etc. Appreciate it. I’ve got several on the shelf that only have a broken blade grip. I guess there is a screw at either end, they don’t come with the grips it seems. Thanks.

@@stevejohnston8543 very careful when pulling the boom out, very gently try to pull it without twisting the boom as is very fragile and may break, just unplug from connector first and you may need to use some force and be aware as when it comes loose the wires may come off from heli body. Try to look how they run the wires so whenever you are ready to install it back to run it the same way or on one side of the heli and use hot glue to keep wires in place and away from main gear. You have a screw on both sides of the blade grip, yes, that’s why you need 2 screwdrivers I don’t think that you will find JIS .0 on the regular hardware store If you are replacing the tail motor or if the tail motor wires comes off, just twist around the boom from the outside and run it thru the main shaft and servos as before, don’t sweat to get it thru the boom as you have to cut off the stock plug and then re-solder. Just run it on the outside of boom and twist it, no fancy looking but works Forgot to mention, I guess there is a screw holding the boom in place. Unscrew the 2 top screws that are closer to back servos and check for it, take it apart so you have a better view

Wei Chieng Pui I would check also the double side tape that holds the flight controller I’m going to do a video of what tape I would suggest and a few simple modifications for this heli

They come off while flying? The whole head comes apart? Or just the blades and you loose the set screws? If the head comes apart while flying, use 2 screw drivers on both ends of the head as I explain in this video. If is just the blades that means that you leave the screws too loose or the blade grips hole thread is gone, make sure that blades are not too lose or too tight as I show in the video, if you can make it too tight, the screw that holds the blade in place, that means that the thread still good. One way to know, take blade off the blade grips, use the screw on each blade, one screw at the time and check which blade grip is bad or it may be the screw Let me know your findings

Te recomiendo comprar un K110, tiene un motor brushless y más potencia, lo puedes usar en 6g mode o 3g mode y hacerlo dócil a tu gusto Qué es lo que le pasa al tuyo? Las baterías son nuevas? Lo has chocado? Cuantas horas crees que lo has usado? El motor no dura mucho por eso pregunto, es desechable

Drones en el Cielo Ok, este video te ayudará en eso, síguelo a como le explico, inclusive si no entiendes inglés o si lo entiendes mejor. Checa que tengas las aspas parejas a medio stick.... Si me das tiempo te lo explico más tarde. Mi idea es que a lo mejor tienes pitch negativo, mucho, y por eso no se levanta a volar.... Si le das full throttle, el stick para darle energía al motor y que se eleve, se queda parado nada más? Como si quisiera pegarse al suelo y el motor se oye que que aumenta las revoluciones a como incrementas la velocidad? Muy importante, qué radio estás usando? El que viene con el heli o uno diferente? Si estás usando el que viene con el heli, le cambiaste algunos ajustes en el radio?

@@helifan2346 Eso es lo que me pasa, Te agradezco un millón de veces tu respuesta, se queda pegado al suelo, llegué a pensar que era la batería que no llega a la tasa de 25c, ya que en la descripción viene una de 250 mah y la mía es de 100, pero debe ser la configuración del RC, si me ayudas cuanto antes, te mando un regalito desde Banggood.

Oded k I don’t get your question 6g mode, I don’t use it. If you switch between 3 and 6g mode the blade pitch would change as you don’t have same values in those modes therefore you will see that blades go up and down between modes, if that’s your question then, yes

Saúl del Barco to be honest with you, they don’t work, at least not for me, they don’t take any slop out, they are loose. Forgot to remove them. They should work on other helis, but not on this one.

abbie morris , I should be more specific, sorry about that. You have 5 values on pitch curves in your radio, the 3rd value is mid stick in your radio, that’s where you check for blade tracking, that value should be 50 on your pitch curve, that reading is half the travel of the servos on it’s full travel, 50%. Then, this heli fly in 6g and 3g mode, the 50% on your pitch curve in either flight mode should be 50. Some people use different percentage, different results. I don’t fly in 6g mode. Does this clears up your question?

abbie morris yes, you can use same procedure for K120 heli, same radio too. But I would not recommend you to get k120, look up for parts, they seem to be hard to find, specially the boom. If you know how to fly a heli and have all the orientations down and don’t crash that often, then get k120, but as I said before, look up for parts first in any heli that you want to get, seems to me that the manufacturer dropped production of this heli, first sign is stock parts, when there are not many available, that’s a bad sign. DigitalAura This video was made for some one that didn't know how to set up this heli, it is what you want it to be, it's just a video, that's all. But the main reason of this video is blade tracking on this specific heli, if you think is something else, good! Hope it helps

This is blade pitch but good video. Blade tracking is height difference between blades while rotor is spinning, leading to blades not being on same plan = vibrations. Usually it’s adjustable by links but not on K110 which have grips to swachplate fixed length plastic links.
