I think this song means that when you believe in God,miracles can happen.The Hebrews were enslaved to the Egyptians for 400 years.How couldn’t you lose faith?Imagine that desperation of the Hebrews for 400 years.They slowly lost faith in God and forgot about the Lord.But the power of faith is very strong and you can believe in God even when things are going haywire.
This has always been my favourite song since I was around 6 years old. Even though I didn’t understand the lyrics yet this song always made me cry. Now that I’m older, I have a deeper understanding of the lyrics which makes it have a bigger impact.
I cry every time even though it seems like god is not with me or helping me I know he's there because of this movie and this song. Whenever I am feeling depressed, anxious, or sad I listen to this and I feel a bit better seeing the Hebrews and jesus6 staying strong I'm being strong for God, Jesus, Moses, Joseph, and many others in which god put his faith into. 💗❤💗💕

This scene always made me cry as I sang along with them. I am a strong believer and somewhere along the line I lost my way with God and I lost hope. But seeing Moses smile leading his people with strength fills my heart knowing God was there with him the entire time. I started to pray again because of this movie. This was the most beautifully made animated films I've ever seen! I haven't cried so much since the lion king! I will show this to my children. What a great story this movie told

mentioning God in movies doesn't make money, ask disney. Who "remembers "pollyanna" or "so dear to my heart" ? don't try to find them on disney plus (dvds in garage sales if you're lucky) , or if you do, they'll come with infamous disclaimers "this is old fashioned, don't watch it, remember star wars and marvel is the only reason why you subscribe or visit disneyland, please ignore disney" ; don't misunderstand me : I'm a big star wars and marvel fan, but also a christian and not ashamed to be; I just hope I didn't offend anybody
is this actual scenes from the movie, i don't remember this part, if so i need to watch it again:p the song sounds good with the movie, it kind of completes and gives an image.and context/meaning to it more.:)
